Hampton Oil Changer

I have gone to Hamptons Oil Changer for years and have been super happy with the service until today. The invoice I received has all my “checklist items” ; however, they were telling me I was finished and guiding me out when I asked about my tire pressure - to which he replied - “oh…yeah…I forgot.” I am now looking at the other items and they definitely did NOT check my windshield wiper blades either nor did they wash my windshield. Those are the things I would have noticed. NOW I am wondering if they even did ANY of the other things. Service was VERY poor today. Bummer because this was always so convenient. I doubt I’ll go back.

I called and asked if they were open for oil changes, and the man on the phone told me yes, that they would take the last car at 4:45. I said, “Wonderful, we should be there in around five minutes,” and he replied, “Okay, if you get here in time.” We arrived at exactly 4:45, which I understand is cutting it very close, and I am sympathetic to that. However, when we pulled in and parked, my boyfriend got out of the car and a man from the garage asked, “Are you here for an oil change?” My boyfriend said yes, and the man replied, “Alright, bring the car in.” My boyfriend then got back into the car, pulled out of the spot, and began to proceed toward the garage. All of a sudden, the man started yelling, “Stop, stop, stop!” We stopped, and he came up to the window. My boyfriend rolled it down, and the man looked directly at him and aggressively said, “What, are you high?” in a loud, hostile tone. He then said, “Why on earth would you back it into the garage?” My boyfriend politely responded, “I’m sorry, I’ve never done this before,” but the man completely ignored him and continued to berate him. At that point, I calmly spoke up and said, “You don’t have to speak to him like that.” The man then looked at me with intense anger and began to lash out at me as well. All I said was that there was no need to ask if he was high or what was wrong with him, as that was rude, and that he had never done this before. He responded venomously, saying, “Then why didn’t you tell him how to do it? You do it for him.” I told him again not to speak to us that way. He then said, “You know what? We’re closed. Goodbye.” I replied, “Fine, bye.” We went to a different place, and the service was a world of difference. They were kind, patient, and understanding.

Always very professional going beyond what's expected. Make sure to tip the boys ! Keeps the cars at Ride Sunny running in top shape !

I saw another reviewer said that all the items listed on the bill that they did NOT do. Same happened to me. This made me wonder what they actually did do? I’m disappointed. I called and nobody returned my call. My tire pressure was low. When I was done with them my tire pressure light was still on. My washer fluids were empty etc. Not nice. Look at your bill before you leave!
