Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

Came in on a Saturday after making an appointment for a tire rotation and was told it would take an hour and a half (which I understood as it’s a weekend), so we rescheduled it for a Monday where I was told it would take 10 minutes. I come in and it’s an empty waiting room and yet I waited over an hour and a half. I was later told there was only one mechanic working but I wish I was told of this as I sat for all that time waiting and the guy there helping me was involved with my appointment rescheduling from the weekend and I even brought that up to him. Will not be coming back here. Nice enough but clearly not organized.

Went to PepBoys in Lindenhurst today on Sunrise highway. I accidentally made an appointment for the one on Montauk highway but they took me anyway which I really appreciated. Got an oil change and inspection and they got me out in a little over an hour. The service manager was very nice and got me signed in very quickly. Ken was the mechanic who worked on my car and did a great job. He mentioned his birthday was coming up Wednesday. So Happy Birthday Ken!! Thanks again for a great job!!

This morning, my windshield wiper flew off my car in the pouring rain. I happen to stop. It was the closest place and I have the most wonderful service walking into a service station. Ahmed help me with seconds in the pouring rain and I got a new blade within five minutes and off! Will be coming back for my other services because of the quick and kind experience I got!

Great experience. I had an appointment with the Bay Shore location and was told there would be a 2.5 hr wait even with the appointment. I was advised to go to the Lindenhurst location for my inspection as they have more staff. I called this location and they told i could come in and there would be about an hour wait. My car was done in less than 45 minutes. The gentleman upfront who seemed like management was really nice , accommodating and helpful. Would definitely return.

4 days of the back and forth and they still didn’t fix the problem my window is still broken today they did not respect my time and if the person doing the electrical is not reliable you should have more than one in the same day and if the part didn’t come in u should call the customer before their appointment so u don’t waste their time n not every appointment she be 3 hours if I made an appointment…. Come to work on time
