Valvoline Instant Oil Change

The service was quick and the staff were friendly, which made for a nice experience overall. I appreciated how they explained everything they were doing, but I did feel like the prices were a bit higher than expected. Overall, it’s a decent place for an oil change if you’re in a hurry.

Gerzon at Valvoline is my go-to guy! I came in for a routine oil change, and he took the time to explain the dos and don’ts of vehicle maintenance. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I really appreciated how clearly he answered my questions and helped me better understand how to care for my vehicle. I highly recommend both Gerzon and this location for excellent customer service and quality care.

Took my car there for NYS inspection. They tried selling me windshield wipers even though my wipers are completely fine and less than a year old. Refused to do the inspection. So I took it next door to Mavis where they said my wipers were fine and they passed it no issue. What a waste of time, crooks trying to upsell for no reason.

The customer service and guidance is inconsistent and deplorable. I took my car there for an inspection and was told my car needed a tire stud and fog lights changed. I was told I need to go to Autozone to buy parts for the tire stud. I asked specifically which parts to ask for. I was told specifically to just ask for the stud that matches my car. I asked where can I go to have someone replace the stud, he says, come back here we do that for you. Next week I do just that and go to Valvoline and tell them that I need my stud replaced and fog lights changed and my inspection. I was told that can all be done, I would just have to wait an hour on the side and they’ll call me when ready. After over an hour I pull in and the assistant manager tells me not only do they not replace studs on the tire, he also told me I needed to buy more than the stud. He explained that the man who told me to wait an hour is new. I asked what about the previous man who told me yes, he could replace my stud, and he said that person gave me wrong info because they don’t do those repairs.
