American Muffler

No complaints whatsoever. I was in and out the door. The staff was nice and kept me in the loop the whole time. I brought my 2025 Toyota GR86 here for a muffler delete because it was too quiet and restrictive. They gave me a free quote on the spot and the price was very reasonable and fair, especially since I have a dual exhaust. Now I can actually hear my exhaust while listening to music or talking on the phone. Shifting is more satisfying and my car even burbles & pops a bit now. The stock muffler was definitely holding the car back. I’m keeping the original muffler just in case, but I’m extremely happy with the result. Highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for exhaust work done right.

Don’t waste your time with this place. I’ve used them in the past, but after having my Saturday afternoon wasted, I would not go back. They failed to honor appointment, even after I called to confirm. After waiting over an hour, owner made it clear he didn’t want to do the work and just wanted to get home. I insisted after waiting so long, he put it up, looked at it and came up with some ridiculous bs excuse why he couldn’t do it. I told him I’ll take it elsewhere as I needed it done for a parade, he said good luck finding someone to do it now as it was after 4:00 on a Saturday. I left, on way home, pulled into a local gas station and they fixed me up. In and out in under an hour as it should be. This review is specific to the Westbury, NY Old Country Road location only.

I have been coming here for 20 years. When you need good quality exhaust work at a fair transparent rate and great customer service, this is the only place to go to! I have brought a ton of different cars here and they've always been great.

Did an amazing job fixing my muffler in 40 mins for a great price ! Should of taken a pic of the work he did after but no more loud noises

Worst place ever !! Got an entire exhaust system exactly 5 years ago …. 3 years ago muffler rotted and fell off, 2 years ago the catalytic completely clogged while on a trip and had to get it cut out at a local repair shop so I could get home, and a few months ago, the tailpipe fell off!! They use inferior parts and charge exorbitant prices !!! STAY AWAY
