Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Mario the manager and his team were the best valvoline I have ever been to. The store was clean, the process was simple and I was able to be in and out in a great time! Way better than my last experience with the previous manager!

I was just clearing out old paperwork and found this invoice from 2019, and I instantly remembered why I kept it. I was absolutely furious after I got home from this oil change and reviewed the invoice. (My fault for trusting them and not reviewing the invoice before I left.) They charged me to replace the oil filler cap and the oil drain plug and gasket. I would guess that most people who bring their vehicles here wouldn't know the difference, but I typically change my own oil, so I went out and checked my truck - same oil filler cap (a 10 year old oil filler cap is noticeably worn compared to a brand new one) and same oil pan plug. Do you know how I knew it was the same plug? A few years before this, I had installed a Fumoto oil drain valve (a small quarter turn ball valve) to make oil changes easier, and my drain valve was still there. At the time, I was so mad I called Valvoline to make a complaint. As with most things, life just gets busy and less important things get pushed off to the side to deal with later. I never heard back from Valvoline with any sort of resolution. I got the oil change I paid for that day, but this establishment also billed me for goods and services that were not performed or replaced. It's hard enough for people to find a trustworthy place to take a vehicle for service, and places like this just add to the frustration. I know this review is about 7 years overdue, and the filler cap and drain plug aren't expensive, but that isn't the point. I hope the integrity and culture here has changed since this incident, but it still doesn't undo what happened. Integrity is one of the most important traits most of us look for in a mechanic. Do yourself a favor: Trust, but verify.

The guys were thorough and fast. Awesome experience I had that day. Thank you so much for making an oil change a better experience. Usually I hate that time of the cycle, but I will keep coming back to this location.

Henry was very efficient at the actual oil change, and Mario was kind, clear, helpful, and engaging. Even with a wait because they were mobbed, I felt attended to. They were prompt and quick!

Never got my oil change here. After pulling in and waiting about 20 minutes another car pulled in around 5 to 10 minutes after me and they started servicing that vehicle first. They did not acknowledge me that did not let me know the vehicle only needs this real fast or anything like that. Jay just left me waiting there for total time of almost 30 minutes with nothing being done and servicing a vehicle that came in almost 10 minutes after me. I made it very clear to them. How upset I was. Please don’t get me wrong the people here were very busy. The point was that they started servicing a vehicle that came in almost 10 minutes after me without even acknowledging me or letting me know what the hell is going on. Valvoline is a first come first serve place no matter what the other vehicle needed if it was only five minutes in Work or a half hour wouldn’t work I was there first and that’s how Valvoline marks first come first serve they did not treat me like this. They just left me waiting there. I stuttered up my car. I let them know how unhappy I was. I received no services from them and I left. I will not be going back to this place as I will not trust them to work on my car.
