Never, ever go to this auto center. Let me tell you why! I was charged for a full oil change, synthetic 5w20 oil, oil filter, fluids etc. They say it will take up to two hours to get it done. So I’m around shopping waiting for it to finish. They call me not even 20 minutes later saying it is done. But I don’t question it, I think it’s fine. They give me the receipt and I’m on my way. Fast forward a few days, engine oil pressure sensor is on. So I bring it to my known garage, they fix the sensor just in case and think it fixed it. Well.. the light comes back. So I go to the garage again. They look more carefully to find the issue. The filter was never changed. The oil level dangerously low and black. The wrong oil was put into my car as well. The oil psi was 66-80 CONSTANTLY due this. It all makes sense now. I used to have a Malibu I brought to Walmart for oil changes. It died not even 5 months later with so, so many engine issues due to metal appearing in the oil. Every time I get an oil change at Walmart they never fill other fluids, and my car comes out with more problems than it started with. Be warned. The garage I go to has 4 cars that have come from Walmart with issues after an oil change, this Walmart specifically. 3 of which, motors have shot. Mine was caught earlier thankfully.

We’ve been getting our oil changed here for years! Never had an issue. The other day, my husband brought our 2nd vehicle in, this time for an oil change AND to have our new tires put on. This was just Last weekend. Well flash forward to yesterday…when my husband pops the hood because he hears that the engine is louder than usual while driving. THERE IS NO ANTIFREEZE!!! Like, how did they change the oil, yet not check our fluid levels?? Because they marked it off on the paperwork that handed us at checkout. Clearly, they DID NOT top off, or even look, at our fluid levels! Had they, then I’m sure they would’ve informed their customer (my husband) that it was empty, or almost gone (at that point). It’s a sad day when u can’t even depend on Walmart workers to do the job you are PAYING THEM TO DO!!! If our vehicle ends up with lasting damage because they were suppose to add antifreeze and don’t, or were obligated to report it was empty but didn’t, like every other time our vehicles have been serviced there, then I plan to take them to court for any and all damages. It’s too expensive to have to fix things out of pocket…and I don’t think it would make the trip to Plattsburgh where our warranty is accepted, which would mean they’d have to pay for a tow truck as well. Smdh all bcuz they didn’t do something as simple as checking the fluids…THEIR JOB. Unprofessional & pathetic service. From now on, we’ll be taking our vehicles to Baxter’s.
View on GoogleA few months ago I purchased all 4 of my tires at Walmart, just so I could get the free rotation and balancing. i do this so every other oil change, I can get my tires rotated. Never having a problem at Potsdam (as this is how I was told to do it from the manager there). I also asked, Potsdam if this was just a thing they did there or was I able to do this at any Walmart location. I was assured multiple times Id never have a problem with any location. A couple weeks ago I made an appointment in Massena for an oil change after being denied at Malone for an oil change because I didnt go on the app and make an appointment. No where on the app was I given the ability to add my tire rotation. I got there 15 minutes early and told them I wanted my tires rotated. He told me I would have to wait about 2 hours for all of their appointments and walk ins to be done. I said no, I have an appointment. He said well you have an appointment for an oil change. I said, yeah... That is what I was informed to do.. make an oil change appointment and simply let them know at check in that I needed my tires done. The associate than began getting loud so I just said to just do the oil change. I asked him where on the app I can make an appointment with my oil change and he said there isnt anywhere to add it on. So a service was sold to me as part of the tire sale that, I was denied. Meanwhile I get asked if I want to replace my whipers and all of the "upsale" stuff... So theres time to add on items if I pay MORE right?? But Walmart doesn't have to honor past sales if your not making more? This is very troublesome and makes me not want to use the auto care anymore.
View on GoogleI needed a new battery. They were great at replacing the battery for me. It took about 5 minutes. The problem arose when they were backing my car (a 2008 Hyundai Accent) off the lift ramp and out of the work bay. My car is stock and hasn't been modified or lowered at all. It pulled the front bumper cover off on the driver's side. I was inside at the desk when it happened. I saw them backing out the car, but it went out of my view. I saw another worker come hurrying towards my car with his hand held up in the STOP gesture. I didn't know what was wrong and didn't think much about it. I paid and then walked out to my car. As I'm walking up to it, I see the bumper cover pulled off and just hanging there! What?!?! You're just going to leave it like that? I went back in to ask about it, and with a bit of Jerry-rigging, they got it to stay in place. It's not like it was when I got there, but I guess it'll do. As long as it stays attached. I was just very disappointed that they tried to just snap it back in place and not tell me that it happened. If it had not popped back off after they parked it, I would have not known until I got back home. At that point, it would have been my word against theirs. This is my first bad incident at a Walmart. I believe it to be a one-off and probably wouldn't happen again. I think that it is their responsibility to inform a customer that damage has occurred to their vehicle. Don't try to cover it up!
View on GoogleGet your oil changed while you shop. Pretty simple. They are typically very quick and always seem to be on point. I usually take my truck here for service because they can change oil cheaper than I can buy the supplies.
