Municipal Parking

This large lot is situated up the hill from the Olympic Museum and is located near the shopping and dining and other tourist attractions along Main Street. I got here early enough that I had a choice spot that was level and roomy enough for the van. And in the sun so that my solar panels could do some collecting today. Payment via the kiosk and display the parking permit on the windshield. Not cheap but Lake Placid has to pay their bills, right?

Was vacationing from Illinois...after 10 min of looking for spot...got lucky found spot....didn't realize there are parking kiosks....like 6 plus cars away....got hit w 35.00 ticket....glad we spent lots of money in their town....found it a bit overkill!!

We parked overnight Tuesday to Wednesday. After 6pm Tuesday it was free. It’s not listed anywheres but you need to start paying again at 6am. Download the app (flowbird) and set an alarm. This was cheaper than valet parking at our hotel (grand Adirondack).

They don't plow or salt their lot to see the lines, then they ticket you for not parking in a space

Decent lot, plenty of parking. Prices are reasonable but half of the pay stations were broken when we got there so we had to wait to pay
