Dollar General

I hope corporate is aware the store manager had just caught an employee who was found drinking vodka in a bottle of water, but then again I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't.

While the staff is very friendly, the aisles are ALWAYS so badly blocked that I often need to walk across the store to go around. There hasn't been any helium balloons for a while as I gues their tank has been out. I don't understand why they can't manage this store better. Maybe they need to be taught how. I hope that upper management reads this and sends help to this store. It's so frustrating because there aren't very many options to shop in the area. Larger towns are a distance drive.

I rarely have an issue getting what I need. They also have a wide variety of everything from candles, pillows, food, pet products, and all different sorts of medicine. It's Definitely a convenient store to have around.

Don't waste your time going to this dollar general in Jeffersonville Ny. This is the worst managed Dollar General. Shelves are rarely stocked. Aisles are always jammed with stock and impossible to get through with d cart. I have seen on many occasions elderly or disabled people not being able to get to items or through the aisle. Milk and food in coolers is a gamble. Milk and cooler stock will sit in the aisle for hours, milk gets warm before they get it put away. It's not understaffed. Managers are always in the office gossiping not knowing or caring that customers can hear them talking about locals. I have seen the checkout line 15-20 deep and they never come help the cashier. All around it's terrible. Go to white sulphur or fosterdale and it is like night and day. It's worth the couple miles.

This place falls between a dollar store and supermarket. You can get great deals on name brands (P&G), paper products, beauty aids. We got 2 folding camp chairs for $15. We come here before we go to the supermarket for staples.
