Absolutely love this bike shop! They’ve got all the tools, accessories, and repairs you could ever need. My SRAM derailleur battery died, and the owner charged it for me on the spot — no charge, no questions asked. I also picked up some tools and energy snacks, and the prices were even better than online. Friendly, helpful, and just an all-around awesome shop. Highly recommend!

From rust bucket to road rocket—thank you, Catskill Cycleworks. If you had seen my 1984 Raleigh C-40 before her visit to Catskill Cycleworks, you’d have assumed she was one pothole away from retirement—or the scrapyard. We were one squeaky brake and a prayer away from a roadside breakdown and a dramatic crying fit. But this crew? Oh honey, they didn’t just fix her—they performed a full-blown exorcism on 40 years of rust, regret, and questionable repairs. She came out of that shop lookin’ like she just time-traveled from 1984… but somehow hotter, faster, and definitely more fun to ride. Like Olivia Newton-John at the end of Grease—but with new tires and tuned gears. The folks at Catskill Cycleworks are part mechanics, part magicians, and 100% bike whisperers. They treated my old girl with the kind of respect most people reserve for museum pieces—or rescue dogs. No judgment, just skills. So if you’ve got a dusty bike with “character” aka: barely functioning brakes, don’t give up on her yet. Bring her to Catskill Cycleworks. They don’t just do repairs—they do revivals. 💅🏼🚲

My daughter's bike had a flat tire, emailed John and he responded very quickly, offered for me to bring in the wheel so that he can fix it while I wait! Had the pleasure of chatting with him while he fixed me up, very kind and nice young man. Nice clean shop with lots of bikes and accessories in stock. If he doesn't have it, he can order it for you! Fixed the wheel with a new tube and fabricating a bit of wheel to prevent any further issues. Definitely highly recommend, for ANY And ALL of your Sales and Service Needs!

I had reached out to get an old bike tuned up before a horse show. To say that my experience was 5 stars would be an understatement. Not only was Jon, the owner, extremely quick to respond but he was so kind and wonderful to work with. He was more than reasonable in his recommendations and thorough in his evaluation and care of my equipment! When it comes time for more work, buying something new, or referring a friend I know where to go! If you have a bike, want to buy one, or just need a tune up this is the place!! 10/10

We came in for the weekend to ride walnut mtn. First my son’s clip-less pedal shoes wouldn’t clip in. The guy in the store took a lot of time with us and installed new cleats. We went riding and my son took a fall and broke his brake lever. We went back to the shop and the guy offered to install a brake lever and do a full tune up over night so we could ride the next day. Saved the day. When I went to pick up the bike the next day I asked about how to put air in my rock shock. The guy told me and then offered to come out to the bike rack on my car and just pump it up for me. This is the kind of place you want to support with your business. Great job!
