I would not refer Mark to anyone after my experience I had, unless you want to pick up your vehicle with more damage than what was there when you dropped it off. I have never dealt with someone more unprofessional and rude. I am honestly unsure how there are so many high ratings as Ive never experienced such terrible customer service at any car shop. My bmw was rear ended which caused damage to my back bumper and trunk. I communicated clearly that I wanted to order the parts myself to avoid shipping and damaged parts. Well Mark chose not to do what I asked and decided to order everything himself on top of not returning my calls for over a week. The communication was terrible throughout the three weeks my car was left sitting at his shop. On top of this, I picked up my car with the coolant hose unplugged which caused me 300 dollars in damage to repair. Giving Mark the benefit of the doubt that this problem was not due to his negligence, I did not place blame & paid for the issue to be fixed at my automotive shop. Though after another 2 weeks pass, I notice my car having problems starting. Come to find out, the battery box in my trunk was completely full of water which Mark stated himself that he did not check when it was at his shop, pure negligence. This was caused by Mark ordering the trunk himself and it came in damaged, due to this Mark left my trunk not fully sealed causing rain to flood inside. This issue was communicated to Mark numerous times to try to fix what he caused, his response resulted to yelling at me in person very defensively. This issue ruined my battery, my starter and my electrical cables that run throughout my car, that was another 600 dollars I had to spend to pay for what he had caused. I brought my car to only have body work done due to the accident and I left with having to pay 1000 dollars to fix the damage he had caused. Today, I still have no response back offering to work with me in anyway. If you care about your vehicle and your finances, please trust me and take your car to any of the other reputable body shops in Rochester.

I was referred to Mark Gillette, and have to say WOW what an amazing job! My truck which is an 07 Black Expedition was damaged in the right rear quarter panel. Gillette Automotive didn't only make the area that was repaired look better than new Mark buffed out the entire truck making it look brand new again! Thanks again Mark hopefully I wont need any more body work, but if I do I know who I'll call!

Mark and his team did a great job giving me the most for my money and making my car look great again- after two different fender- benders. I took my daughter's car in recently after a sideswipe with a guardrail and it was fixed to look brand new for a few hundred less than he first quoted- and for way less than other shops! Our cars looked washed and shiny when we picked them up, too. With Gillette's great service and savings, I've had more money left over for unrelated mechanical repairs- which are inevitable when you own cars over 10 or 15 years old!

Butch and Jeb are the best! Very kind and friendly and take your interest to heart. They will find you the auto you want and will make sure youre happy! I'd highly recommend them and will in the future.Thanks guys! Janet L. Tooley
