Thank you to Greg Beaumont the mechanic at Chevy auto service repair! He had notified me right away the next day to ask what was wrong with my car. After it had been towed overnight due to no battery power. He took care of it ASAP and helped me with all the fees. He got my car ready between 1-2 days. I was very happy with help, work and time. I will never take my Chevy traverse anywhere else. This has the best customer service by far.

To summarize upfront: The service center at this dealership is inefficient, disrespectful of customers’ time, slow to communicate, and thoroughly unprofessional. Avoid this place if you value your time and sanity. I brought my 2026 Suburban (only 7,000 miles) here for two issues: wind noise on the driver’s side and a second-row seat rattle. Despite scheduling 3 weeks in advance, my experience was a nightmare. The Timeline of Incompetence: • Tuesday (4/7): Dropped off the car. My service advisor, Elia, said it would take “a couple of days.” • Saturday (4/11): Called for an update. I was told they hadn’t even started diagnosing it yet. • Monday (4/13): Still no diagnosis. My car sat untouched for 6 days despite having a 3-week advanced appointment. Elia promised an update by Tuesday at the latest. • Wednesday (4/15) - Friday (4/17): Multiple follow-ups and broken promises. Finally, on Friday afternoon, they confirmed a deformed weather strip but said the seat noise would take another week. The Reality: I took my car back immediately. This is a commercial vehicle, and every day it sits idle is lost income. My GPS logs confirmed the car sat in their lot 99% of the time, untouched. It took them 10 days just to identify a wind noise issue that GM has already documented in bulletin PIT6493—a diagnosis that should take 30 minutes. Adding Insult to Injury: After I picked up the car, the dealership now claims they need "another two days" to re-diagnose the same weather strip issue they already confirmed on April 17th before they will even order the parts. Ten days have passed and the parts still haven’t been ordered. Communication: Terrible. Responses were either delayed or nonexistent. Promises of “10-minute” callbacks turned into hours or days of silence. Final Verdict: Do not bring your vehicle here. They have no respect for their customers' time.

His attention to detail and commitment to doing the job correctly the first time were evident throughout the entire repair. He didn’t just complete the work; he ensured it was done to the highest standard possible, with care and precision that exceeded expectations. Greg consistently went above and beyond, taking the time to diagnose thoroughly, explain clearly, and make sure everything was resolved properly. Definitely recommending the Empire Chevrolet service department in Hicksville!!! Everything from making the appointment, checking the vehicle in for service, pricing, paperwork, and finally leaving with the vehicle could've not been more seamless! Chris was my service advisor. He kept me updated while our Traverse was being serviced.He even noticed that the state inspection was up and took care of it! I've wanted to get some exterior upgrades for our car so at the time of pick up, I walked over to the parts department. At the parts counter I was helped by a handsome gentleman named Joe. Could've not been more than 5 minutes and Joe had already searched, found and ordered all the parts i wanted! Never had I have such a pleasant experience at any other dealership ever! Don't let any other Chevrolet dealership service or get parts for your cars than the Empire Chevrolet in Hicksville!!

First time customer bringing in my 23' Corvette for service and was a bit disappointed. I came in for 2 tires to be changed which i’ve provided, 1 tpms sensor, alignment, and mechanic discovered 1 worn suspension strut which I approved for the service. The car sat for nearly a month in the shop without anything being worked on as they were waiting on parts. Called in numerous times for updates but 90% of the time advisor can't be reached and no call was returned. Only other option was to come in person to confront them. Additionally no loaner car was provided despite having booked my appointment 2 weeks early, no transportation with lyft/uber provided either. I requested early on that I wanted to take my car back early since parts delivery is unknown and to have the service done next time when the parts arrive (since I had an important business trip coming up) to which they responded that "it’s not a problem and I can take it whenever I want since the issues with the car don’t make it a hazard to drive." This was a conversation I had with the advisor numerous times throughout the weeks but when it came time to pick up the car they refused to release it due to it being “in service and taken apart” which the advisor stated. The mechanic working on the car comes out and said the car hasn't even been touched and no lifts are available, so technically I could have taken the car. Additionally the mechanic stated that the parts had actually come in a few days prior to my arrival but I was not informed about it despite having called in numerous times for an update. Not only is this a lack of communication within the team itself but also with their customers. I continued to request to take the car back and push off the service for next time due to the fact that the repair process hasn't started but they still refused to release the car. I had no choice but to delay my business trip and pick up the car late and upon picking up the car it the alignment was still off, the battery was also discharged and hesitant to start the car. I tried calling the service department regarding the issues but yet again no response at all. The team was quite unprofessional and will not be returning.
