I have a 2014 RAV4 with 214,000 miles, so I took it in for an all points inspection to make sure she still had some life left in her. The only real surprise was that, other than the couple of bigger things I was aware of, it didn’t require too much more-a lot of little things. No huge surprises. Jay sent me a detailed inspection report, complete with photos so I could see with my own eyes what was in need of repair, most of it due to the age and wear and tear on the car. I was able to accept/decline the work done in my own time from the detailed link sent with pricing, and the work was done before my work day ended the next day. I love my rav4, so knowing it’s still in good shape makes me so happy. I’m not ready to let her go. It’s also nice having a mechanic who I know will be honest about whether I should sink money into the vehicle or put the money into a down payment on something new. I trust Jay’s judgment to keep my family and me in safe vehicles and not spend good money after bad. I worked mostly with Ethan who was very friendly, courteous and professional. He’s a great asset to the business and very easy to work with! I highly recommend giving him a call if you need to get your vehicle repaired or inspected. Overall. Excellent experience!

Ethan is the best!!! From the moment he arrived on scene to completion of work, he was so very kind and patient handling my million phone calls. The final price for all the work completed was truly reasonable and they did a great job. Would completely recommend Haney's to anyone. They are fair snd honest. Where do I begin. I had LED Headlights installed in my Silverado this morning. When I arrived I met Ethan, who informed me that they provided transportation from the Service Center to my home, and would pick me up after the work was done. When Ethan picked me up from my home to return me to the Service Center after the work was done, I met the Owner, Jay, an absolute class act. Both Jay and Ethan informed me that the work was completed 1/2 hour earlier than quoted, which saved me over $90.00. They could have easily kept the truck there that extra half hour, however, they deducted the time off from the Bill. You just do not find Service like this anymore. I highly recommend Haney’s Auto Shop in Mechanicville. I will absolutely be a return customer. Thank you again Ethan for the transportation provided today, and for the work completed.

Jay and his team went above and beyond with their attention to detail, personalized service, and incredibly fast turnaround times. What really set them apart was how well they took care of us when we were in a bind—they even picked up, towed, and dropped off one of our cars when we weren’t able to get it there or pick it up ourselves. That level of care and convenience is rare these days. Jay and his team truly made the entire process easy and stress-free.
