Gil's Garage Inc. - Halfmoon

First time using Gils Garage, did so from the reviews. My experience was fantastic. From the first call, coolant leak ( somewhere not easily found) they got me in 2 days later. The following day, they had an estimate. It was a big job, it had to be done. A day later, and bingo, Bangor, bongo ! My 2021 Ram 2500 was all set to go. Pricing was in line, there speed and follow thru to get me repaired was fantastic ! I will NOT hesitate to use them in the future and neither should you.

I had a great experience with Gil's! I made an appt and received reminder texts. I brought the car in & I was checked in quickly and efficiently and they even asked when I expected to get my car back. The technician diagnosed my problem from my poor description and my car was ready as promised. I used a coupon from their ad with no questions asked too. I will be going back. Thanks Gil's!

I had John, their service counter person wait on me for a tire replacement. Gil's acquired the same tire manufacture I had on my vehicle and did not try to sell me something else I did not need. John was outstanding in working with my 3rd party insurance (tire/road hazard) for my tire replacement. He spent numerous phone calls and provided the necessary information to the insurance company. Thanks for all your help. I will certainly go back to Gil's for any other necessary repairs.

I told them when I made the appointment and in writing when I dropped off my key that if fixing my car would cost more than a few hundred dollars, I would just be trading it in. When I went to pick it up ( more than 8 hrs later) they hadn't even started looking at it. Long story short, they spent about 20 minutes running the codes (which any auto zone will do for free) and charged me for an hour of Labor...$181.79. All to tell me the same diagnosis I had gotten when I Googled the warning light/ symptoms... spark plugs and ignition coils. They were going to charge another $762.75 to replace these on another day and I was like "nope". I bought the exact same parts they were going to use and watched a YouTube video on how to install them (pretty easy), and it cost me $240. They make you pay for the initial diagnosis so you're forced to allow them to completely overcharge you for their services and parts.. this company is a complete scam! And don't bother responding with a phone number for me to call because you had your chance to make a good first impression and you absolutely failed!!

The Gill's team was super accommodating with my schedule. I needed to get back to school out in Syracuse by the evening for a class, and the team members were super kind and got my car serviced super quickly! I made it back to Syracuse with plenty of time, thanks to Gills!
