I got fed up with storing my motorcycle in my garage. A friend suggested Chad’s Second Gear, Jefferson St, Gloversville. It was a brilliant decision, on my part, to go with his suggestion! For $300 my bike was stored in a secure facility, and Chad also went over the bike to make sure everything was properly adjusted and all fluid levels were correct. He also changed the oil. While checking the bike over, he let me know of a few items that needed additional attention. With my prior knowledge of what needed to be done, he made the changes. When I picked the bike up this Spring, it was inspected and spotless! Everything we had discussed had been completed to my complete satisfaction. Chad Whitman is my “go to” guy for anything to do with motorcycles! I was 100% impressed with the quality of the service.

Realistically I would give 1 star but they at least did the work they said they did, the reason for my low rating is simply this, I called asking for my bike to be looked over to MAKE SURE IT WAS COMPETELY SAFE TO RIDE, as well as a tune up and a couple other things, first off my bike was there for over a month with little to no contact unless I called, and when my bike was finally ready to be picked up I brought it home to look over it myself. I then notice my chain is Loose as all hell, not to mention dryer than the sarahara, the rear sprocket was almost falling off, my rear wheel adjustments were totally off making my wheel track sideways, my horn still doesn't work, and my fork seal is leaking and the tuneup was never done. Not really sure what took over a month to do but it wasn't worth 400$ could've been a decently paying job for them if they actually looked over the bike like I asked.

When they checked my tires he said they didn't pass the tire gage check.So I asked them to give me a price check for two new tires. The young lady working their said she would look for tires because they didn't have them in stock. The next day the lady called me and stated the two new tires work cost an estimated $748.00 . I was like wow and said all get back to you . I called around and got some estimates I ended up going to Jims procycles in Clifton park, that's where I always went when I lived in Saratoga but was trying to give some business to this chad guy in Gloversville,ny but the price I paid at Jims procycle was $507.00 in stalled same tires Dunlop elite 3. front tire was 94.00 rear was 237.00 and 88.00 dollar for the front and 88.00 back tire costing 175.00 total bill was 507.00 dollars. The total bill came to 547.00 with tax chad was going to charge me 807.00 with the tax i'm figuring. I saved 260.00 dollar by going to Clifton park. I'm not sayE Chad is a bad business man but your not gonna be in business long charging those prices. so i'm just say that everyone should get two or three estimates !!!!!
