Livingston County Department of Motor Vehicles

I am hesitant to even write a review because I selfishly don't want anyone else to know how amazing this DMV is. I have been there 3 separate times, without an appointment (risky, I know), and have walked out of there satisfied in less than 10 minutes each time. I have renewed my registration, completed an eye test for my license renewal, and receive a new transferable title for a trailer EACH in under 10 minutes (the last time I was out of there in 7 minutes flat). This is by far the best DMV in Western, NY and probably the entire country. When is the last time you've seen a DMV google review average above a 2? Even above a 3 would be decent. This place has an average of 4.2 and for the life of me I can't figure out how that is possible (should be HIGHER)! Long story longer - go here. Don't mess around. Come prepared the best you can and if you're not prepared, they will quickly tell you what you need to do. Simply the best you could ask for.

Super friendly and helpful. Customer service is superior to wyoming county. Easy to find and park. Inside county building. Metal detectors at entrance. Multiple county offices located within.

People that work at the DMV are slower than a turtle! 40 mins of my time wasted. Unbelievable, you people really need more workers and not keep taking break while you have 17 people in line….. worst place to be on a Friday morning…..

Extremely rude over the phone. I called to ask a simple question about license plate surrender and the woman on the phone hung up on me. Seemed like doing her job was an inconvenience! Go to literally any other DMV location for a better experience
