I have a Ford Transit Custom Van. At 80,000 miles I started getting a warning light Service Transmission along with Hill Start and Check Engine light. I had a local repair shop try to service this to no avail. I found Anderson Transmission Service located in Elmont,NY I immediately called the shop and had the pleasure to speak to Boris who was professional, courteous and patient to hear my claim. He asked me to come in asap for a diagnostic on the Van. Once there he did his magic and was able to analyze the transmissions needs. He actually had such an incredible inventory on the premises and even showed me the parts that were to be needed. He took the Van right there gave me a more than adequate price and said I would have the truck back the following afternoon. He was timely, efficient and very welcoming. He had his Master teacher present which I didn’t catch his name but together they were a great team. Nevertheless the Van is running well the transmission is smooth and those annoying warning lights are no longer present. The important note here is if your servicing a transmission go to a transmission specialist not the dealer or a local repair shop.
