When searching for a good mechanic, we decided to try Pegasus Motorcars. Alex, the owner, is super helpful and knowledgeable. He’s a great listener and has perfect people skills. We’ve been so happy with all work that has been performed by this shop and always feel that Alex is trustworthy and very fair in pricing. We won’t be shopping for any mechanics as long as Alex is in business. The bar has been set super high now!

I cannot say enough good things about the service received from Pegasus. Due to physical limitations, my wife has assumed responsibility for service of our vehicles. We started our relationship with Pegasus about three years ago. We have absolutely no fear of her being misled, misinformed or in any way, taken advantage of by either Alex or Scott because she is a woman. Whenever she returns from a service appointment, she has been given clear, and complete descriptions of diagnosis and resolution with no suggestion to have any other unnecessary work performed. The last time she had an inspection performed, at a different shop, the inspector informed her that she needed approximately $600 of work on the rear suspension or her tires would wear out in just a few months. That was three years ago. I had her decline the service and the tires are still fine! Our most recent experience was to have a resolution brought to a problem that had been ongoing for several years and had been unresolved by three other “ Specialty” shops. Two of them with multiple attempts. Alex determined the cause and resolved the problem on the first attempt, in less than 1/2 hour! As mentioned earlier, he provided complete details as to what he had found and what he had done to resolve the issue. It has now been two months since that service appointment and the problem remains resolved. I know that Malcolm was there for 40+ years and I hope that Alex will bless us with his service for at least that long. If you have had service at Pegasus and have been pleased, please give them a great review and recommend them to your friends and acquaintances. If for some reason, you were not at five stars, let Alex know and I’m sure he will do his absolute best to resolve your issue without question! Let’s do everything we can to keep this business going strong. It’s hard to find honest, reliable and reasonably priced auto service in this area.

I’ve been taking my car here for several years and have never been disappointed. Al is especially great, good attitude and super easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Scheduled an appointment for changed tires. Just tires no jacking up car figure 15 min job. Said he can't do it till the end of the day he said 9am. Guy was very rude. You know how we all hate rude ess when trying to get stuff done. I will not recommend this shop please go somewhere else like pro auto service in whitesboro NY I hate giving bad reviews sorry guys

Alex has excellent customer service skills and automotive knowledge. He explained everything and answered all my questions. He went over everything with me before doing work as I was concerned about cost ( which end d up being way more affordable than I thought) and even took care of a small fix free of charge just being kind. The shop is really neat with lots to see and even going there is a mini experience in itself. We'll definitely be back.
