Costco Tire Service Center

If Costco Tire Center is not going to honor scheduled appointments, why do they require customers to make them? I had an 11:30 AM appointment and even arrived early at 10:00 AM to ensure my tires could be installed on time. Despite this, they did not start working on my car until 1:20 PM. In the meantime, I watched them take multiple walk-ins ahead of me. It was completely unfair and totally unprofessional. I have been a Costco member for six years, and the reasonably priced tires used to be one of the main reasons I kept my membership. After this experience, that is no longer the case. After this unfair treatment, I ended up returning all the items I had purchased that day and ultimately cancelled my membership altogether. The manager offered me a $50 gift card to “make things right,” but I refused it. Costco employees and management need to understand that their customers’ time (and in particular time with their families) is worth far more than a $50 gift card. Costco should treat customers fairly and stop overbooking their tire services. Good luck to anyone attempting to get their tires serviced here. Be prepared to wait at least five hours, even with an appointment. Terrible experience all around.

Order my tires $1140. It took over 3 weeks for the tires to arrive. Made an appointment for 12:15 . Showed up at 11:40 . A sign 3ft x 2ft says for members with appointment only key drop off . Approached the counter to drop keys and was told that I would have to get in line with everyone else who were either buying tires or trying to make an appointment. Waited patiently for 20 minutes. Got up to counter and asked the representative why have the sign if it is not a key drop for members who already have appointment. Representative had no answer other than excuses . He then informed me they were running 2 -2.5 hours behind . I told the representative, who was a store manager, I drove 40 miles one way arrived early and was waiting for my vehicle and why make appointments for customers if they can't deliver. I asked the manager why hadnt they sent a communication to me and other customers this morning to alert me to the delay. His response was he didn't have time for that. So costcos time is valuable but customers time is not . I had paid over$ 1100 dollars to be mistreated by costco . I did leave my keys with him and he informed me he would call me when my tires were done . So he had time to call me when they were done but not to give me a heads up on the 2 hours delay for my appointment because they had trouble mounting tires on some rims . Very reassuring that they have touble mounting tires to the point it would delay every customer up to 3 hours. I went on a walk had lunch watched football at wild Wings walked back to Costco and my truck was still in the parking lot untouched . At this point I decided to get my keys and my money back and use a professional outfit that knows how to do their job. This was easier said than done . The manager didn't know how to refund my money without calling one of the mechanics to show him. As I waiting another customer who's appointment was delayed asked if it would be done today. They said yes that they always finish all the cars . He said that the evening before the mechanics worked till 2 am . They were under staffed and overwhelmed and had gotten a bad attitude. These are people that shouldn't be mounting tires on anyone's car. Sounds like a safety issue for both customers and workers. Costco over promised and under delivered in everyday. They should be embarrassed that they charge people their hard earned money for this sort of treatment..terrible experience

I had a great experience here. I’m really grateful to the team at this tire shop for their great service. They took the time to make sure everything was fully taken care of and didn’t rush through the process. They were attentive, responsible, and really listened to my concerns, which made a big difference. I truly appreciate their help and would definitely recommend them.

I wish I would have seen the reviews here before buying tires. We had a 5:30pm appointment. They told us at 7pm the car was being worked on, but still saw it in the parking lot. At 8:30pm they finally took it back and then let us know they don't have the proper lug nuts to replace one because they are on back order, and per their policy, they cannot change the tires. They suggested we take the tires with us, pay someone else to put them on, and come back with the receipt. When I said absolutely not and asked for a refund, we were told since we bought online, we needed the physical card for a refund. Never ever again. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever received.

10am tire rotation appointment, arrived and check in 9:55, i checked my car at 12:30 its still in the parking lot. I talked to the staff they said another 30min before my car to be serviced 😒 Wont be purchasing tires again in costco. Ill be paying $20 for tire rotation next time in other shops rather that wasting more than 3hrs here, not worth it. I should have read other reviews before going here.
