Gault Chevrolet Service and Tires Center

Went for oil change, tire rotation and a check engine light. When I picked up the truck the tires were not rotated. I had numbered them with a marker. Makes you wonder what else they did not do!!!

A friends car was in the service department here. I spoke with a knowledgeable fellow named Mike who explained the problem. It was more than the car was worth. He kept the conversation professional and I explained to my friend his options.

Appt. Was for 2 recalls. Brake sensor and air bag. Had early time(8am) and was told it would take several hours. No problem thus far. By the end of the day I was told it would not be completed until the next day. They had the vehicle for at least 8 hours the first day. I received a text the next day around noon that it was complete. So that is a total of 12 hours approximately. I am assuming with a recall that you know from past experience how long it should take. Anyways I pick my vehicle and as I am driving home I notice that it smells kind of like oil inside the truck and in addition I also have a rattling sound coming from the rear door drivers side area. When I get home I look at the interior roof liner and it has oily fingerprint marks in several places. The cause of the oil smell. I went back the next day and told Mike about the issues. He definitely agreed that the stains on the roof were not acceptable and would detail the interior to make it right. He pretty much blew off about the rattling sound I told him about. I returned the vehicle on Monday and they removed the interior stains ... Thank you Mike. Unfortunately I now have a rattling sound that was not there before your people touched it. Based on this and a bad experience I had with your service department a few years back I will definitely NOT return. Will certainly share my experience with friends as well. Very unhappy.

I needed to have 2 recall bulletins addressed. Gault made it easy. When I called the service department, my call was answered by a pleasant person(!) who handled everything related to making this appointment - no transfers or annoying voice response menus. I opted to drop my car off the night before my appointment. I was contacted the next day mid-morning with a status update and again when my vehicle was ready for pick-up. Pick-up was quick and easy. I was pleasantly surprised to find my car had been washed and the interior cleaned. Great experience!

I had a spot buffed out above my door handle that was there when I got my 2019 Chevrolet Equinox a little over a month ago. Prior to this I went in for a couple touch ups on the paint. There is no better place to go for a vehicle, this Dealership is better than other ones in the area I have found, Rick and Sam are very nice people. I would recommend Gault Chevrolet to anyone, especially if you are a Chevrolet person like me, you will be taken care of.
