Phantom Built

I came in to get suspension and maintenance services done and it was excellent work with the mechanic Anthony. He has a lot of experience and gives you a sense of assurance when you speak with him regarding your concerns. I was expecting to leave my car a few days but he got the services done in a day, solid shop and Id recommend you go for any VW/Euro work.

Excellent mechanic and very knowledgable. I appreciated that he took the time to explain what was going on with my car. He worked fast and my car is driving better than ever. It’s hard to find a mechanic around here that understands VWs. I’ll definitely be back.

Very knowledgeable & professional. Had an exhaust leak and needed to replace a vacuum hose & gaskets. They were able to help me & get my vehicle sounding back to normal. I tell people all over the Tri state about this place because honestly it's the best place to get your VW/Audi back running back to 100%.

Great experience. Prelude: Me..old guy who used to work on WRXs, VM Golfs, old Fords, and once fondly remembered 78 Riviera, and are sport bikes, just recently handing over the reins to others (its is not the age, its the miles). I have a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe 3.3 L I was putting in Gecko coilovers to replace some junk struts previously (Taiwan specials. Great so far. Transformed the ride.). I figured I would do all four corners. I ran into fused rear shock bushings on the back end, and did not have the gear to deal with them. I also screwed up, apparently had pulled the right half shaft out too far and the needle bearing did not seat right. I figured I might as well get that done at the same time. I found Phantom Built with a google search. I spoke to Anthony, the owner, who, really you don’t find people like him often; easy to talk to, understood where you are coming form, discussed what could be done, talked through what we could to to prevent that bushing fusion in the future, add to it extremely reasonable install. He looked at what I was trying to do with this otherwise stock Hyundai Santa Fe, executed in short order. I am squared away on all four corners to including correcting my half shaft mistake. Have a need? Check Phantom Built out. Especially if you are a VW and Audi performance, which he and his team specialize in. I expect they can take on any number of vehicles (just call and find out). I formerly had an old 85’ GTI. It was a fun car to mod, wish I still had it. I would be at Phantom Built today working on the build with them. Maybe Someday… Anywho…great experience. Anthony owns this shop and is great with his hands and know how to care for Audis and Volkwagens. This shop is mod friendly.ans he is an honest guy, if it's not going to work, he will tell you. He also works on other cars but this is his speciality and very mod friendly.
