My car broke down during a road trip with my family while we were traveling back to Virginia. It happened on a Sunday of a holiday weekend, and this was the closest open shop—most places were completely closed. I had the car towed to EVL Auto Care, left a voicemail, and filled out the after-hours drop-off form, hoping they would be able to help us. First thing the next morning, I received a call confirming they had my vehicle and would do their best to diagnose it quickly. About an hour later, they called back and explained that the water pump on my 180k-mile vehicle had failed. They provided a very reasonable quote for both parts and labor and made a genuine effort to fit the repair in that same day since I was stranded out of town. They followed through. The repair was completed, and I was able to get back on the road that day. I know enough about cars to recognize honest work, and EVL Auto Care did not add unnecessary repairs or inflate the bill. More importantly, they truly seemed to care about helping someone in a difficult situation. Getting my car back the next day saved me hundreds of dollars in hotel and additional travel expenses. I am extremely grateful for their professionalism, fairness, and willingness to go the extra mile. I highly recommend EVL Auto Care.

We were passing through Ellicottville on the way to Buffalo when we got a flat. Barely managed to make it to this shop & it just so happened there were two gentlemen there when they weren’t supposed to be working. Took the tire off, patched it up and sent us on our way!

We needed a tire patched and we were leaving town that day. They worked us in, patched it up and we were on the way. They were friendly, helpful and fairly priced

Ran over a nail that punctured my tire about an hour away from Ellicottville, was able to change to a spare and drive into town, only had a 1 hour window before I had to get back on the road, they squeezed me right in, fixed the tire, re-mounted it, and even put away all the spare tire tools in the right spots and reattached the spare up under the carriage! Amazing customer service and I will recommend every chance I get!

I found myself passing through Ellicottville on a tire that was rapidly losing air (as a result of driving over a huge threaded nail). I was mildly panicked thinking about how I’d make it the 90 miles home on a Friday night when I was directed by a nice man who I met in a parking lot to try to make it up the road to EVL. I called at a few minutes after 5 (when I knew they’d likely be closing) and was told to stop in and they’d look to see if they could fix it. 20 minutes later I had a fixed flat and was able to make it home after a long week and a lot of driving on unfamiliar roads through unfamiliar towns. I couldn’t thank them enough for staying late to help a stranger driving through. I appreciated their service and kindness more than they’ll ever know. It reminded me there are good people willing to help when you need them most.
