I used Community Auto for my cars for many years, but they destroyed my Acura MDX. I brought it in for an inspection, it passed, but Javier who I trusted thought I ought to have it get engine mounts. $400 plus . I said ok. I dropped my wife off to get 'her' car after the work was done and within seconds of driving it away from the station the car started bucking like crazy. She went back and the mechanic refused to test drive it. The owner was called in and said it wasn't their fault! He got nasty, saying I needed a shrink!? The car was no longer drivable. Suddenly I needed a new or rebuilt transmission. I had to get rid of it. I've never left a bad review for any business (well, once) but after denying culpability and losing thousands of dollars for a temporary rental and needing to go get another car, well, there it is. I plan on taking them to small claims court. DON'T TRUST THESE GUYS. *I see the owner has responded. He’s a liar. I should just let it go I know because he has to defend his businesses’ reputation, I get it, but I brought a perfectly operational car to him for inspection and left with a car that jerked forward every few seconds that I had to get rid of within a few days! After paying him $400+ for the new engine mounts!? He says my friend/mechanic and I agreed with the owner that the shop was not responsible. That’s BS and I know the owner knows it. Yup. I was upset. It was my family’s only car! He lied and said ‘your friend looked at the car on the lift and could see we did nothing wrong’ . More lies. We never put it up on the lift. (He didn’t mention or even know that I saw him hammering away at it a day after the first mention of a problem over the phone. Something wasn’t right. He was trying to bend something under the front end. He wasn’t happy.) He lied when he said that he would repair the transmission for free if I could prove it was his fault. Just more BS. I no longer have the car and according to DMV in order to open a case I’d need to show them the car. I have no real agenda here. He’s cost me thousands (had to rent and then buy a new car) and I’m just venting. Like I said, I had my cars serviced by the previous owner, Mark, for over a decade. This new owner needs to protect his reputation. Understandable. And I’m sure most ppl are happy with his service. But it would have been nice if he could admit and make good on mistakes. We all make mistakes! Or is it just me? New post *The lift was broken. It was slipping. Nearly dropping cars. The lift repair guy was scheduled to fix it that week. I was there and watched as a Corvette owner saw his car almost hit the ground. He freaked out. *According to AI: a transmission’s ratio is determined by the fixed number of teeth on the transmission's internal gears. However, a drop can cause damage to those gears and other components, which would prevent the transmission from maintaining the correct ratio, causing it to "slip". And that’s what happened. Because the transmission suddenly SLIPPED in to and out of gear when my wife picked it up. It never did that before! For the record I never said I couldn’t afford repairs. That lie is simply offensive. This is ridiculous. People, just be forwarned . If the shop screws up they will lie and cover it up.

Recommended to come here by a friend who has been here before. Took me right away. Customer service is absolutely outstanding. I am so happy with this place. Highly recommend. Thank you!!!!

Trust and honest are the only acceptable adjectives to describe the owner and his employees at this location. I brought my car for a Battery replacement and the owner, Azeem gave me the best price . I asked him about other services my car needed and was able to speak to me in a professional manner In order for me to comprehend the task at hand to tackle. He explained everything in detail and his composed demeanor made me feel I went to the right place and he's my guy for ALL my automotive needs from here on our! Javier is fantastic as well! I wish I could give this shop more than 5 stars!!! They’re AMAZING! They keep you informed every step of the way! I had a bad experience with another shop and the moment my car was transferred to Community Auto… I got a text within 14 mins explaining what was wrong with my car! They held my hand and walked me through everything and I can’t thank them enough! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! This is now my go to shop. Thank you for having phenomenal customer service.. it really does matter! FIVE STARS!!!!

My car was pulling to one side badly and my usual mechanic quoted me 2000$ for a rack and pinion job. A coworker of mine suggested to come to Community Auto Repairs before spending this much money. It turned out I only needed an alignment and ball joint. I ended up paying 320 dollars and my car fortunately runs great!
