Widrick Truck & Diesel Service

Called this morning as my motorhome would not start. In an hour Rich got there and had the problem diagnosed- batteries dead, he said we could try charging them with the onboard generator. Tried it, couldn’t get them above 18v. Rich said he could replace them with new and I said do it as I didn’t trust the old ones. Rich also found a broken ground wire on the alternator and fixed that, said that’s why your batteries are dead- they are not charging. Bus fired right up, showed charging on the batteries, he also found and repaired a small air leak. I cannot say enough praise about this service man and the company. (Although I have not got the invoice yet LOL). It’s worth it, as we leave next week to go south one less thing to worry about! Widricks Truck and Diesel has gained a new customer for annual service on our coach too!

DO NOT GO HERE! This place is extremely dishonest including lying about prices. They quoted me “just over $100” for a new battery and then ended up charging $300. When questioned about it, they told me “oh that was just a misunderstanding.” Their labor rate is DOUBLE anywhere else in the county. You ask why they have so many 5 star reviews? They filter all the bad ones and don’t allow them to be posted. I posted a review on their website and they took it down. I believe they create their own accounts and write positive reviews. Mark the individual i worked with was dishonest and took advantage of me. DISHONEST and OVER PRICED!

These guys that Joel has working for him are top notch. We WILL NOT go to another shop. Hands down the best. You get what you pay for and that’s quality. Our truck was down for the time they said it would be and not a day longer. They will always be our go to from here on out. Special shout out to Rich. He’s been the only one working on our trucks and I wouldn’t want anyone else. Also a shout out to Joel. Your shop is awesome. I remember when it was just two bays. If you want that #1 service and a family atmosphere you need to go to Widrick Truck And Diesel!!!!

Charged me $223 for apparently looking at the Tahoe but couldn’t look at what I told him what was wrong did everything but that. Didn’t get no answers about anything just got charged 223 for absolutely nothing I literally told him day before that when I wiggle the wires that went into transmission on the tcm on outside of transmission the lights on P R N D light up in and out I just spent 223 to be told nothing when Ik what the issue is just gotta find it in the wire. Like I wouldn’t mind spending 399 even 700 if it was fixed especially after I asked him to look at it there n didn’t That was the only reason why I asked him to look at it because I specifically wanted him to look at that plug that’s it I’m guessing he didn’t say anything to anyone? I mean even so I talked to the owner nd he was told same thing idk why he didn’t go to that wigglin the wires had the park light lighting up seeing it was in park n it about started up every time it light up. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN FOR ANYTHING 100% OVER PRICED AND TAKE WAY TO LONG TO LOOK AT THE ISSUE ESPECIALLY AFTER BEING TOLD WHERE THE ISSUE WAS. DEFINITELY A WASTE OF $223. $199 an hour for what? Ridiculous……. Never again and I wouldn’t ever recommend these so called mechanics. 🙄

This is the nicest truck shop I have been to they will show you why the mechanic is working on my truck Richard is a very friendly guy and he knows bout these trucks and Joel the owner is very nice and tell you what going on with my truck before they start working on it plus Terry is nice I've been doing this for 33 years now and I've been to alot of shop all over the country but this is the best one bye far it bad I live in NC and get my truck work done in Carthage NY so driver looking for a good shop give Widrick truck and service a call they will be up front with you they got a customer for life thank you again Widrick truck service for everything.
