TA Truck Service

Never going back again! I took my truck to the Ta Truck Service in Danville for an oil change, and it was a total disaster. Not only did they put the wrong oil in my truck, but I was also charged twice for it! The whole experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I’ve never had issues like this at any other service center, but now I’ll be avoiding this place at all costs. I will never return, and I definitely do not recommend it to anyone else.

Quick stop in for restroom and store. Everything was bright and clean. I was impressed with the fresh feel of the restrooms. The clerk was fun and friendly.

Stopped at this place to get an advil for a headache.while there i decided to take a break from driving and eat. Went to country pride sat down by the windows that looked out front of the store. I ordered a ribeye with loaded mashed potatoes, mac n cheese and a side order of fried shrimp. First i told the lady I wanted the steak to be Medium rare, longer i sat it came across my mind I was taught always get well done at restuarants because everyone doesnt know how to cook steaks medium rare and this proves it. I called her back and asked her to change it to well done she said sure ok wrote it down and everything. Now it took 15 minutes for my food to come. She asked me to make sure my steak was ok, the part i cut into was not pink at all which was the sides that was my mistake because maybe i should have cut more to the middle. I wasn't feeling good from my sinus headache so I just got the rest of my food to go. I drove another 5 hours to my destination warmed the food in a microwave and statted eating. I noticed the more I got to the middle the steak was very easy to cut through and it wasn't cooked rare it was raw. I immediately stopped eating and washed it down with water. 12:20 I was awaken by a sharp pain in my stomach. It hurted so bad i couldn't bare i was curled up into a ball. I immediately went into the travel plaza i stopped at and immediately preceded to vomit not only did I vomit i was using it at the same time nonstop throwing up. I called my mother first once i was able to come up and get a ginger ale and ice. She informed me it sounded like they gave me a bug from the steak. Called a 24 hour emergency room. No, y'all gave me food poisoning. If u eat here dont order steaks they dont know how to cook them. I would get lawyers involved but its just as much as my fault as the country pride employees. Disgusting.

The service department is ok if you get the right mechanic.. As far as fuel.. I feel they have price gouged over the last 30 days... When you raise your fuel prices .13 cents a gallon twice a day for 10 days straight... That is price gouging... There mark up price in items for your truck sits about 200 percent, your better off going to Wal-Mart for items for your truck
