Hatchet Hardware

For the second time in a week I visited Coxsackie Hatchet hardware to return first a broken Ace brand shovel then a broken Ace Brand Bow Rake. The first trip the cashier got snotty with me started asking when I bought the shovel,, then called the manager "We're gonna need you up here" like I was a problem. These items have lifetime warranty from Ace Corporation. I have returned Ace Brand tools to Ace Hardware stores for 50 years, never once has this been an issue. The second time (today) the cashier (man-child with nosering and pentagram on black tee shirt really classy) got snotty with me and also called the manager who proceeded to charge me $8 to exchange the Hoe because "She just had to". The reason I overpay for Ace brand tools is so I can return them when they break. Both of these items had defects, they were not abused. It clearly states they are guaranteed when used as intended, which they were. And the attitudes are unacceptable. They should train their employees to be courteous regardless of whatever policy you have, and if they need clarification on Ace Corporate policy on Ace branded tools they should contact Ace Corporation. I sent an email to Sales at hatchet and it has been ignored. I can tell by their other review responses they really could care less about customer service and their surly attitudes are pathetic.

Lots of variety for things to fix small projects around the house. Nice selection of Stihl chainsaws and equipment.

This was my second visit to Hatchet Howard, and I’m even more impressed than the first time! I absolutely love the variety of flowers they have—it’s hard to leave without picking up something new. Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful, making the experience that much better. I’m so happy with everything I’ve gotten, and I can definitely say this will be one of my go-to places for buying plants from now on!

Best place ever friendly knowledgeable people! Awesome store with everything you could imagine and more. They also sell jewelry I hear the owner makes it herself beautiful stuff. They display their plants in a beautiful way as well with dressers and things to show how to decorate with them as well as jewelry among the plants for sale! Kudos to all who own and work there great team great place!!!
