Happy to see all his reviews as nothing but 5 stars, that’s what he deserves from me also. Glad I found and and will be recommending him any chance I get. Saved my work van from the graveyard for an expensive alternator replacement and saved myself about a weeks worth of work to pay for it. A few bolts and an electrical clip and I had my alternator reinstalled, knowing it was good as new and equally important- still an oem part that I knew wouldn’t cause any other issues, satisfying experience.

He has rebuilt several alternators for me. He always charges a fair price and I’ve never had to have them repaired again afterward. I’ve had numerous problems with rebuilds from parts stores, but not with his rebuilds. He can also get complete alternators and starters usually at better cost than a parts store. Highly recommend him!

I drove an hour to get there . He was so nice told me he would work on it now , so I wouldn't have to drive all the way back for it! It was our tractor starter . He built it back to new . I love spending my money on a individual shop than the big ones! Especially when it's so well deserved. Thank you!

I brought a tractor starter to Strauf's shop just minutes before they closed on a Friday afternoon. He took the time to open the starter up and tell me that he thought he could save it. It was ready for me by Monday noon! He also loaned me a special wrench designed to make it easier to get at the rear mount bolt when reattaching the starter to the tractor. Strauf Auto Electric was a great find for me. I highly recommend them.
