Nemer Volkswagen of Latham

Need to give a review of Nemer Volkswagen and the awesome experience I had with Christian and everyone else at Nemer VW. I owned a 2013 Golf R about a decade ago and took it to Nemer VW for service. Even though I bought the car from a different dealer, I didn’t have a good experience with the after sale treatment. Nemer VW treated me like I bought the car from them, and that’s why I went back to Nemer VW when I was ready to buy my current dream car- a 2025 Golf R Euro spec. I’ve only owned the car since yesterday (1-6-26) so I can’t yet comment on the car itself, but I know it’s going to be sweet when it gets properly run-in. This is my fourth Golf R, so I am confident it’s gonna be fantastic. I really can’t say enough good things about Nemer, but while the majority of VW dealers are putting $5k + “market adjustments” on every R they could get their grubby little mitts on, I bought mine with a thousand dollar discount! I almost couldn’t believe it myself. So if you’re in the market for a new Volkswagen, you can’t make a better choice than going to Nemer VW. I’m so glad I did.

Unlike a lot of dealerships, I never felt pressured or pushed into anything. He was patient, honest, and there every step of the way to answer questions and help me find exactly what I was looking for. She’s extremely knowledgeable about the VW lineup—whether it was tech features, powertrain options, pricing, or anything else, she always had the answers. What really stood out was her approach: low-pressure, honest, and focused on helping me find the right fit rather than just making a sale. She made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Brad, the dealership manager, was also fantastic. He took the time to guide me in the right direction and made sure everything came together seamlessly. Overall, a top-notch experience. Bought my new 2024 Jetta and yes, they skipped my delivery charge as it wasn't available for 3 weeks, thanks Archie. Upon delivery they let me drive off the lot with a broken CPU system and cock eyed steering wheel at lets say @6pm stating that everything would be handled upon a return to the shop as it was late and they couldn't fix it then. Hungry for a sale...... I scheduled a Saturday. Fixed CPU system but couldn't fix the steering wheel because of personnel not being available on Saturday but was told it'll be covered as it's new car. Today I had my 2 year check and for the 3rd time mentioned the steering wheel. Pam told me that they never had any prior information of it from my end so it had to be after the fact and wanted me to pay out of pocket stating it was never reported. I certainly reported it but it was never "logged". BEWARE OF THESE SWINDLERS. Life long VW driver but never again a Nemer customer. Archie is cool tho. I'll be returning all my additional coverages this week and go to another VW dealership moving forward. BOOOOOOOOOO nemer
