Len and Landon did an Exceptional Job from start to finish. They replaced our panel box wich was damaged by a poorly installed solar system. Upgraded the breakers, replaced our exterior meter box and brought everything up to NYS 2026 & NEC Codes. Len was attentive to my concerns, offered solutions, and didn't try to up-sell me. They came when they said they would, on time, and cleaned up after. If you want peace of mind at a fair price, Call Mel Carr. Very Pleased .... Highly Recommend! 👍

Excellent explanation of what work was recommended and upfront cost. Len Charbonneau, our electrician, could not have been nicer and being respectful of our budget researched as many discounts he could find. Len and his assistant did an outstanding job of diagnosing and correcting the issues we were having. So much so that we scheduled another project for him to do. He is very knowledgeable and quickly got the work done in record time. We highly recommend Len and his assistant.

I contacted Mel Carr Electric after doing a google search. I have an old home and was having an issue with old wiring and ceiling fixtures. I am always wary of inviting strangers into my house, so getting a text ahead of the appointment with the name, photo and short bio of the technician coming to my house was a very pleasant surprise. Ethan Brown was the technician who came to my house and he was very polite, professional, friendly, and courteous. He explained exactly what he was going to do and kept me apprised during the entire appointment. He provided clear information regarding what needed to be done, including cost, and reduced the cost when he was able to finish the job sooner than expected. He walked me through everything he did, and made suggestions for further improvements to consider down the road. I was very impressed and happy with the entire experience. If you are a woman (or anyone, for that matter) who needs to have work done on your home and are nervous about finding a safe, reliable, courteous and conscientious company to work with, I’d highly recommend Mel Carr Electric.
