Caliber Collision

Caliber did a great job on our repair. Allen kept us updated the entire way. Letting us know when to expect the car back, what stage the repair was in, and what work was being done. He also took care of all the communication with our insurance company, which made everything much easier. Great communication, great work, and overall a really positive experience!

I was so appreciative of the way caliber collision helped me out after a deer hit my car. They kept me informed every step of the way the car was ready much earlier than anticipated and in addition to a beautiful job on the repairs my car was spotless inside and out to the point of detailing the inside of my car. They were great and extremely easy to work with. I never could have afforded this fix on my own but working with them through insurance was a breeze. They were very communicative, excellent customer service, and gave me my car back even cleaner than I left it. Highly recommend using them for body work if your insurance allows.

After hitting a deer and having some serious damage to the front passenger side of my vehicle, my insurance company sent me to Caliber Collision in Colonie. I have to say, I’m very pleased with the whole experience… from the receptionist to the experts… it was great. They gave me a 3 week timeframe and they kept me informed daily with a text message telling me where they were with the work on my vehicle. The also knew that I was paying out of pocket for a rental and they were able to complete my repairs 1 week earlier than expected. This was greatly appreciated and saved me quite a bit of money for the rental. I would definitely use Caliber in the future. I would also highly recommend them to others.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I came to this location because a snow plow backed into my parked car and because it had a good rating. However, I really wish I did not come here because it filled me with so much anxiety, anger, and frustration. When I first got my car back, I noticed things that were off and I had to go back 8-9 times. Each time I went back, they messed something else up which resulted me going back. They claimed that they had “fixed” the things concerning me, however it was a lie to get me on my way. Things popping out of place, white residue stains (which I will include), and even a front bumper insulator broken, which was not from the accident but only AFTER I received the car back from them. They shoved it back in like a jigsaw puzzle thinking I wouldn’t notice, but I noticed this because the broken parts were blocking a front radar, which they told me it was “dust”. I realized what they did when I finally went to my dealer. I finally had enough when I went back for them to fix the huge stain they made on my car (in front of my eyes) and I left with a huge cut in my steering wheel made by the gentleman who “helped” me because he started getting annoyed I was coming frequently to make them fix their mistakes. I feel it every time I drive and I am filled with anger. They don’t care about details and act like you are crazy that you want your car fixed. I had to go to the caliber collision in Troy because of my distrust in this location, and after the first time there, they were able to get my car looking back to normal and fix the mistakes of the Colonie location. There is much more to say, but these are the biggest mistakes they made. If you plan on coming to this location, clear your schedule because you will waste a lot of time trying to get your car fixed and prepare yourself for a major headache.
