Vern's Auto Repair

My mechanic recently retired so I was looking for a new mechanic. Vern’s was close by and his reviews were good. So I was really hoping to establish a good working relationship. However I found Vern’s service to be incredible poor. I would not recommend his garage to anyone. Not only did they not fix the car in a timely manner, but they never tightened my axel rod bolt in my car which is a real safety concern. See the picture below. They were repairing my ball joints and I found their price to be reasonable however They were more concerned about leaving for the weekend then taking the time to put the car back together correctly. I also noticed when I came to pick my car up it was making an awful scrapping sound by my rotors. I called to tell them that evening that the car wasn’t right. They never returned my called and Abe said he never got my message. Which was a complete lie. I showed up on their lunch break they didn’t want to look at the car during lunch and they claimed if I drop the car off again the would look at. If they did the job right the first time this wouldn’t have happened. I think i was more than patient with their staff. They jerked me around and didn’t complete the job. Now my wheel bearings need replacement because they didn’t tighten the axel rod. I would not recommend this shop whatsoever.

I originally met Vern as a customer at my job, where I was helping him out, and later on I ended up needing to bring my own vehicle to his shop when I ran into some mechanical issues. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. His guys were patient, honest, and took the time to explain everything clearly instead of rushing me or trying to upsell anything unnecessary. His attitude and advice alone made the difference, and the work backed it up. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing things the right way. Hands down the best auto shop there is—highly recommend Vern’s Auto to anyone looking for trustworthy, quality service.

Absolutely 1 of the best mechanics I have ever been too. They don't over charge, rip you off and explain everything. They are all very friendly and professional. 1000% recommend taking your car issues to them. Went with 1 problem, came home after it got fixed. Noticed a new issue, called and they said to bring it in to look at it, found it right away and am going back to get that replaced (radiator hose is cracked) very thankful they helped!

Ive had my cars serviced for various things at Vern's and am always satisfied with their work and the cost.

I hit something in the road and had an emergency with a flat tire. I knew I wouldn’t be able to make it if I tried to drive to my dealership about 20 min away. Thank goodness for Vern’s right on the corner where I was, I pulled in and they immediately helped me! They plugged my tire and filled it to the correct psi and I was in and out in under 15 minutes! I had my 4 year old daughter in the car with me and they let her watch the mechanic do the repair which she loved! Thank you so much to Vern’s Auto for helping me out during this tricky situation, I am so grateful! Also both guys who I spoke to were very polite and friendly to both me and my daughter! Highly recommend them!
