The shop was able to check my brakes and relay that info in a very short amount of time. I was given a price that was reasonable and I was given a senior discount. The job was finished in about two hours.

I cant warn people enough not to go here. I came to this location about two weeks ago to get my brakes and rotors done, they wanted, if i remember correctly, a little over $1500 initially. The manager, Alvin, took it down to $1300, which I appreciate. I pay them, drop the car off, then get a phone call from the other technician telling me I need two calipers and then I need to pay another $900. I talk to Alvin again, he agrees that this is a really high price for two calipers and drops it down to a bit over $500. The work gets done, 9 days later i have a new, worse problem with my brakes. I cant press them like normal, I have to actually FORCE the pedal down. At this point, I can still get my pedal to the floor. I bring it back, they tell me a need now I need a new master cylinder and brake booster, that the parts are not easy to come by, and now my brake wont gp all the way down. A few days go by, I speak to some people, ask questions on reddit, look on Google, and ask chatgpt some questions about this situation and everything seems to think this is suspicious and that I should see what the cost to repair this would me. A friend of mine contacts another shop and they tell them $971 after tax, labor and everything, even with the parts being difficult to find for my vehicle. I get back with Monro and you know that they want? $1700! Do not go here they will rob you! Edit: I made this post a couple of hours ago and have called the shop my friend got in contact with myself to confirm the price. They dropped the price even more because they found a cheaper part. $885.

Had set up an appointment for a Monday. Got a call that Monday, and was canceled because inspector called in sick. Appointment was rescheduled for Friday. Went smooth, and had me in and out pretty quickly . everyone was curious and friendly.

This is the second time now that these people canceled my appointment. Really nice to you u til they mess up and can’t seem to 1 hold themselves accountable or 2 managers can’t seem to understand The Who, when’s, and what’s of this place. Attitude and no one knows anything just nope you don’t have an appt…. I should have recorded the interaction of me booking my second appointment because when I showed up they said I never had one. And I guarantee that a manager will reply to me here saying ummmmm how can we make it better. You want to know how. Close it or hire new manager! Rant over.

These guys are fair and honest. I had my dealership say that I needed to replace my brakes asap but the guys are Monro said its completely fine and can be replaced after a few more months Honest and fair
