Riverhead Nissan Service

The moment I pulled out of the dealer with the newly purchased vehicle, it had a problem. I immediately turned it around and the sales department tried there best to remedy the situation. They were able to schedule an appointment for the next morning. I saw several issues as I climbed under the vehicle and pointed them out. After the repairs, the sales manager Tommy walked me over to the service desk to speak with the "TOP,TOP TECH" who worked on it. I asked what he had done to fix the problem. He changed 1 shock absorber and gave a tire rotation. I ask why he only changed 1 shock and not both as most techs would change them in pairs. Donna at the service desk said "I didn't know this was going to be an interrogation!" She then had the tech pulled into the back and dismissed my concerns. Tommy spoke with the service manager and had the tech pull the vehicle into the shop on a lift and go over the whole vehicle. At that point I was satisfied. I am most likely not going to take my truck into Riverhead to get it serviced ever. I will bring it elsewhere. Tommy and the tech, I believe is Joe were very accommodating but, Donna was very dismissive. I had just bought a vehicle, didn't even take it home yet and she give an attitude like that.

The ease of making an appointment and the quality of help is beyond expectations. I didn’t have to wait at all to be seen. I have gotten an oil change and I didn’t have to wait any extra time then it took for them to do the oil change. I am so very pleased and will never go anywhere else . The customer service was also outstanding . Very happy customer !!!

My mother brought her car in for an oil change and inspection. As you will see from the attached photos, she was taken advantage of, including a $46 charge for odor spray - which is not required for inspection. We receive a phone call asking if they could change the windshield wipers to pass inspection. When she returned to pick up the car, she was shocked to see a bill for $942 when she had only authorized oil change, inspection, brakes and windshield wipers. Despite having Spanish speaking staff supposedly always available, no one offered to translate anything for her. Do not send your mother or anyone who doesn't have an understanding of cars or is not proficient in English to this place - they will be grossly taken advantage of. See photos attached of full service these scam artists performed- turning an oil change and inspection into an 8 job repair of a perfectly working vehicle. Also when I called to ask what they did, the manager refused to listen, spoke over me, and admitted the odor spray was not in the manual but part of their service. When I asked for a refund on services not authorized, he cited her initials (which she signed after all work was done, not prior authorization, in order to pick up her car) and said to take him to court.

Staff were professional and really nice. Service was prompt and timely. Donna was great. She had a hearty smile for everyone. I was kept informed while I waited. Service manager, Mr Ken was awesome - He was visible, interacting with and assisting customers. I am very satisfied.

My appointment was in the morning and everything went smoothly. Donna helped me at the counter. She’s always kind and informs me of what’s needed without overwhelming me. The check in person and mechanics were courteous and professional. I got my oil changed in a good amount of time!
