Costco Tire Service Center

Appointment only, can't do a simple tire balance with nobody in the bays and only one appointment lol. Just 3 guys twidling their thumbs.

Always a great experience when visiting the tire center at Costco RIverhead! Four new tires were installed in June. Had a nail in a tire a month later and they got my car in and out within an hour. Great service. Thank you to the knowledgeable staff! Update 3/1/2025: Another great experience at Riverhead Costco Tire Center! Honored their warranty and needed one new tire! Walked in, with no appointment, and was seen by Connor and Sebastian! They told me not to worry, and it would be done within the hour! Easy, fast, friendly and so grateful for their help and service. I don’t write reviews however I’m writing this review as I’m at the store waiting to pickup the car. Don’t come here as they treat you with no respect, we came to change a tire that had a nail in it and surprisingly found a review that falls under the same scenario (what a coincidence). The bald guy with approximately three strands of hair on his head would raise his voice when he spoke with my mom. My mom spoke to him calmly and he responded in a rude and disrespectful manner and made it seem as if she couldn’t understand what he was saying, so he had to talk to her as a child. His only responsibility is to comply with the customer, come to an agreement with them, do his job and then say have a nice day. It almost seems as if he was looking for a problem. You can tell he has serious anger issues, when he spoke he got louder and was typing more aggressively, he interrupted my mom more and more then said that she wouldn’t let him speak. Hypocritical. He spoke with high pride and ego, most likely is a very unhappy man. If you are that man I doubt that you actually live a good life as I know you are rude and don’t find joy in your job. Don’t come here if you don’t want the same to happen to you.

Will not honour the guarantees. Tire selection is limited and getting your tires here is a complete waste of money. Go to a real tire store. My tires lasted 40k when the average was 65k and all they said was it was my fault because I didn’t change them on the Costco schedule. Completely inaccurate and just not true. There are people there with essentially no knowledge of the products. Costco is going down in all ways, sad to see.
