Tire Kingdom

I had a special job requiring a special tire place and Jay and his crew did not disappoint. Ever since I bought my 2023 Bronco Sport Heritage (aka “Bronquito”), I wanted these white wheels with heart cutouts (Heritage Wheels’ Kokoro MonoC in arctic white). Finally after 2 years I was able to make the purchase; and when I needed new tires decided to do both at the same time. Then the wheels no longer were available in the arctic white and they had to be customized. Jay suggested I have them delivered straight to his shop and he’d let me know when they would arrive. Ordered in late November, I was supposed to have them by Christmas. Every week I dutifully called Tire Kingdom to see if they had arrived. Long story short after numerous delays on the part of the wheel vendor they arrived in early February. Thanks to advice from Jay’s son I negotiated with the vendor for freebie lugs and a small discount. Jay was fun to talk to as we bounced around ideas for the perfect tires to go with the new wheels, as there are 2-3 sizes that might have worked. We got clear that what was really needed for this Pavement Princess was some long wear, all weather radials in the standard size. Jay fixed me up with an affordable set, and I had my heart wheels on the Bronquito for Valentine’s Day! 🖤🤍♥️ Next fall we will put on a good set of snows and I can feel confident and safe in the Bronquito on my 75 mile round trip work commute.

If you can get someone on the phone, they will make you an “appointment” with little identifying info- tell them you are planning to wait for a tire balance with tires off the vehicle already, have them clean, weights stripped, ready to be spun. Show up before said time- end up waiting 15 minutes extra anyway for anyone to even show up. Watch 3 other customers show up, then leave because no one was there. Then told to leave the tires and rims anyway because they have ‘other things’ to do instead- despite said ‘appointment’ to wait for what should have been a very quick process to spin and stick weights on 4 tires already off the vehicle. When asked about the balancer- it’s nothing to boast about, as their web site seems to talk up how great of equipment they have, which is what brought us there in the first place. The employee did not know how to/couldn’t do a dynamic balance when asked about it before unloading the wheels. You’d think it would be something they knew/did considering it’s a place called Tire Kingdom. This place optically is a dump, there is garbage and vehicles everywhere. You can hardly tell if it’s even in business, open, or what door to go to. I’m not sure why they have good reviews, this is the second time I’ve been here for this exact situation and no one was there that time either, even after calling ahead. Run.

Rob at tire kingdom was great. I showed up at 9am on Monday am with a horrible flat tire and he provided a tire and replaced it in 30 minutes for a cheap price. He also gave general advice on further caretaking of the car and tires. So helpful !
