Carlson's Muffler and Brakes

These guys are awesome! Excellent service, price , and timing. Had to get my muffler replaced. They had me out in about 45 min and on my way to work. It's so refreshing to see a company that does not gouge its customers. Thanks fellas!!!

This is the quality work you get from Carlson's Muffler and Brakes. For someone who's been in this type of business for DECADES you would think you would get quality work, not the case here. I paid $486.00 PLUS $17.01 for customer service? never heard of such a thing. You pay for their services and then pay for them to take payment? Seems shady to me. Don't think twice about taking your vehicle there save yourself the headache and take it somewhere else

Heard about 'Tom Carlson's mufflers and brakes' shop from a service manager at a car dealership. Tom's prices are VERY reasonable and affordable. He is also a: friendly, caring, and knowledgeable mechanic and business owner - with a 'FUNderful' sense of humor.

I’ve heard they were great from older family members who had dealt with him years ago……. key word here (were) I brought my vehicle here because of some on going Exhaust problems I will say it looks like they thoroughly inspected The car even brought me out to their bay to try to explain to me that my exhaust wasn’t the problem tried even blame a lose jack in the spare tire compartment removed the jack and I assumed they were going to take the car for another test drive. I then proceeded to close my trunk. They pulled my car out of their shop. They told me there was nothing that they could do and to see if that fixed my problem and sent me on my way like no one believed me or didn’t care to do a thorough job! I then bring it to another shop 10 minutes down the road explain the issue Yeah they diagnosed it in less than 10 minutes mind you this place isn’t an exhaust shop the mechanic shop that I bring it to for a second opinion, I felt like the owner at Carlson was very dismissive told me it was something rattling inside my spare tire slot. I don’t think I was there for 10 minutes before I was basically pushed out the door with the car being pulled out and him telling me to have a great day mind you no one’s here getting work done. For a place being an exhaust shop, I would assume they’d be able to diagnose a simple problem such as a blown resonator With that said, pretty sad A specialty shop can’t diagnose a problem in which they are specialized in I’m sure they were great but I believe it’s either the shop doesn’t care or the shop really has just went down the drain I can’t speak for other people’s experiences good or bad. This is just mine and I’m sharing it.
