Undoubtedly one of the finest old school hardware stores in the southern tier. If not all of Western and central New York, always on point products, pricing and advice. The biggest part being the expert advice, no matter what your project is. Ray and Lisa have been doing this long enough to be able to tell you what you need. And how you need to do it in most cases, they are just dead on. We have a 100+ your old house and obviously we need a lot of advice on how to keep things running and maintain well and how to do our improvements.The right way with the right products. Their staff, Jackson and the rest of the crew are experts in finding what you need for your specific project and if you need it and they don't have it. They will very often order it for you. Was there to copy a key. Two workers there. One was in a slaphappy conversation with a local who didn't seem to be buying anything. The others cashing out some guy. I waited 15 minutes for him to finish. When he was, he said he'd be right back. Ten minutes later I waked out because my lunch break was over. I'd like to buy local, but if they can't serve their customers, they deserve to go out of business. I'll now drive 45 minutes to Home Depot and get the key from a machine.

Has lots of items and staff can be helpful if you can find the right person. Prices are higher than big box stores but many items are competitively priced.

Really good selection for a small-town hardware store. They also have a friendly owner and knowledgeable staff. Unfortunately, they allow customers to come into the store without a properly worn face mask. Who wants to come into a closed space where the air is infected by flat-earthers?

Very helpful staff and they have whatever you need.
