My friends always make fun of me, because they believe I regularly get scammed at mechanics. I've had 3 cars and haven't stayed a regular at any place because I always feel awful after. This is the only shop where I've gotten a major job done (driveshaft replacement + wheel allignment) where I can say I've come out feeling good about what I spent and the repair that was done. Chuck and his team are it. A big thing for me and why I am unable to go to most shops is I work overnights, and my days off are Sundays and Mondays. No family owned mechanic in the area from Lewiston to Buffalo are open on Sundays, and on Mondays, they open too late in the day for me to go. It's very crucial I get my car back before Tuesday night for my regular shift and the boys at this place were the first to make it happen. If you are hesitating because of negative reviews on yelp or google, remember what type of people leave reviews - either people who had a great experience and feel the need to give back (me) or people who want to hurt the business. I let the gentleman know first thing that it was most important to me to get my car back by Tuesday night, and they made it happen. Open communication is key here - Chuck even showed me my busted driveshaft and u-joints because I almost wanted to drive it and just get it replaced another day. Hope this helps anyone concerned! Best wishes.

Ben at the front was great, super patient and understanding of my issues. But the rest of the crew didn’t care at all. They told me my car was an outrageous price but I didn’t have a choice as it was actively breaking down so at first I said I’d take it elsewhere then they offered me this “paytomorrow” service. You pay no money today and make payments monthly or a lump sum(s) when you can to pay it off. First they said it would be ready same day. Ended up taking 3 days. Then I got to the office and they made me pay $30 which isn’t what they told me but fine I pay it and it doesn’t accept my card info “because I have Chase bank” so at this point I’ve spent over $100 in Uber’s because of the bad information this place gave me. Ultimately by time I got my car I paid over $150 in uber (the place is a decent distance from my home). The guy Ben at the counter with the bonnet is the only one that actually tried to help and he genuinely did everything he could and was very empathetic to my situation. And my car still shakes if I go over 60. Overall experience, roughly 6 hours sitting in the store accumulatively, $150 of my own money because of their bad info. Not great Bob.
View on GoogleMonro Auto Service was excellent. They were very upfront about the wait time and at one point I left. I called back an hour later and they got me in within 30 minutes of me calling. It was for a simple state inspection, but they were extremely professional and very friendly! I highly recommend them! They are located on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst, New York.
View on GoogleI had an appointment for 9:30, they took my truck in promptly at 9:30. I was having an oil change and complimentary tire rotation. All went fine, took about an hour to do this procedure. I was ok with what was done, however when checking out, I was charged for tire balancing (of which I did not ask for), which was more than my oil change. I only had 6K on my tires and had no issues so was a little upset that I was not asked prior to balancing my tires. I paid for the service since it was done and I am sure it was done properly. So lesson learned on this one.
View on GoogleMonroe Auto Services and Tire Centers did a great job on my car. I needed an inspection, oil change and a gas pedal replacement. They were not too expensive. They told my husband that we would need two new tires to pass inspection. This would have been an unexpected cost and Chuck made the price of the gas pedal lower in order for us to afford the two tires. Then, we had to drive the car for 10 days before we could get the new inspection sticker. When we had to go back, the re-inspection only cost $10 dollars. I will definitely go back to them for any similar car maintenance issues and I recommend anyone to go to them.
