View on GoogleI had a very disappointing experience with Erin and Bill’s Automotive & Transport. My vehicle, a 1983 Mercedes-Benz 240D, was picked up on 3/24/26 in Buffalo, NY with an expected delivery date of 3/27/26 in Rockville, MD. At the time of pickup, my father even gave the driver a $100 tip as a gesture of appreciation and goodwill. Unfortunately, that courtesy was not reflected in the service we received. The scheduled delivery date came and went with no communication or updates from the company. On 3/28/26, both my father and I made multiple attempts to reach them, but our calls went unanswered. It wasn’t until 3/29/26 that I finally heard from the driver, who stated he was still in Rochester, NY dealing with a “radiator issue” and hoped to have it resolved by 3/30/26. During that same call, the driver mentioned he initially had difficulty figuring out how to release the emergency brake on my vehicle but claimed he eventually “figured it out.” This raised serious concerns about the handling of my car and whether any damage may have occurred. On 3/30/26, my father was finally able to get in touch with the driver, who stated the car would be delivered the following day. On 3/31/26 at around 6:00 PM, I was informed the car would arrive later that evening. However, my interaction with the driver was very unpleasant. He was rude, condescending, and dismissive when I simply asked for a delivery timeframe. At one point, he raised his voice and loudly stated, “I don’t know what time!” over the phone. When the car was delivered around 9:15 PM, the driver parked a few blocks away on a main road, which I understand may have been necessary. However, when I asked if he could bring the car closer to my designated parking space, he responded sarcastically and rudely, saying, “Who, me?” Overall, the lack of communication, numerous delivery delays, and unprofessional handling of both my vehicle and customer interactions made this an extremely stressful experience. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.
View on GoogleWe had a great experience with Erin and Bill’s. They were fast, had very good communication, and most importantly to me they were upfront about the price. I wish there was a way to spread the word because it’s so hard to ship a car anymore, with automated garbage websites and offshore companies taking over. When I got my first estimate online I got called by about 8 different companies who all offered ridiculously low prices that I knew they would jack up later. Erin and Bill’s is a local company with real people who you can actually talk to.
View on GoogleVery disappointing experience unfortunately since the company was recommended to us by previously satisfied customers. We understand that sometimes things do not go as planned but that is when a company’s customer service skills should be utilized and in our case that did not happen. There was a complete lack of communication and clarity from the office and the driver. Multiple delays and pick ups added to the driver’s schedule that we were not informed of and that further delayed our delivery. Had this been clearly communicated to us what a world of difference that would have made, Instead, we just kept waiting for answers. We made a request for a reduction in fee due to the lack of communication and delays but were met with “no we don’t do that” rather than an attempt to try to do the right thing customer service wise. There is always an opportunity for a business to recognize where they could have done better by a customer and it is unfortunate that Erin & Bill’s did not take advantage of that opportunity in our case.
