We ordered 4 tires from Tire Agent and had them sent to the Lockport Monro. (This location would receive 0 stars if it were an option) We received the tires a few days later and called to make an appointment to have them put on. The workers there weren't to bright. They managed to install the tires, but couldn't get the sensors to work properly. About 1/2 hr after the install our TPMS light came on. We returned the next morning and the same 2 young men could not get the light to go off. They said they did not have the equipment to properly program the sensors. We were assured by Tire Agent the cost of the sensor installation was included, so naturally we expect that it is able to be done by this facility. We decided to go to another location (N.French Rd in East Amherst), but it wasn't until the next day. We explained to the person at the counter what happened and he told us they could help us later on that day, they were very busy, so in the meantime he told us the manager at Lockport was in to go back there and see if he could resolve the issue. Well Chris was his name. He looked everything over and again were told they didn't have the proper equipment. We were told to take our vehicle to the dealer. What a bunch of crap. We went back to our appointment at the East Amherst location, they took our vehicle in and within about 1 hour the problem was fixed. How is it that one location can't do the job and another can. I honestly think that Chris was too lazy to fix the problem. He knew how, just didn't want to. We were told by the worker that fixed our problem to tell Chris that he had the same equipment as his location and was able to get the job done. That's pretty sad isn't it. We had seasoned workers at the East Amherst location, older and more experienced. Thanks guys for going that extra mile. Any future repairs within reason will be done here. So know this, avoid the Lockport location...they were terrible. Thing is, we had other repairs done there; we were return customers and we were treated like garbage. My advice to Chris is maybe you should find better mechanics and you should probably hang up your career. If I were corporate I would fire you.

Tim and David were Awesome! Went above and beyond what is required or expected! Their care and concern for my vehicle allowed me to trust them completely. Their knowledge created a commitment from me to go to them first whenever I have a question or concern regarding my vehicle. Thank you both and thank you for your teams support and professionalism... Touchdown!

Dave, the assistant manager, was very helpful and quickly helped to take care of my flat tire on a Sunday so I could use my car to get to work on Monday. I had a great experience!

I’m a young woman. I went to the shop by myself to get my radiator fluid flushed and get my coolant replaced. Got that done. They then told me that I needed new brakes, rotors, and calipers after they finished the service. I know a thing or two about cars because I am a bit of a gearhead but I don’t look like it and my car certainly doesn’t reflect my interest in cars. The mechanic said they were starting to grind and told me that I didn’t have much mileage left. They didn’t even tell me how many millimeters worth of brake pads I had left. And when I was asking all these questions for clarification, they laughed. There are always signs when you need new brake pads and I didn’t have ANY of the signs which is why I wanted a second opinion. The price they gave me was 550 dollars. I got a second opinion today and the mechanic said I don’t need new brakes and I had EIGHT millimeters worth of brake pads left. My rotors were a bit rusty but that’s not uncommon for the Buffalo area. If you are a young woman, please for the love of god, always get a second opinion from a local mechanic shop if monro says you need a specific, expensive service. Or, hell, have a man in your life drop your car off and wait for it. Something tells me if I were a man, they wouldn’t have tried to convince me I needed new brakes. Knowing a thing or two about cars and their mechanics and getting a second opinion from a local shop saved me 550 dollars. Monro, do better. It’s the 21st century now. In the big 2026, trying to rip off a young woman is crazy work.

Our technician was great! He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. Our car was very loud upon arrival, but she was purring like a kitten when technician finished. I am very impressed with our service, and I wish I could give our technician even more stars.
