I had all four tires replaced at this Walmart Tire Center, and shortly after installation I noticed that all four of my rims were damaged. Each rim had a circular scratch around it, which was not present prior to service. When I first brought this to the attention of staff, I was told I had to wait for the manager. Once the manager arrived, I met with Melissa, whose behavior was immediately rude, condescending, and dismissive. I was made to feel as though they believed I was lying or trying to blame them for curb damage—until she actually went outside to inspect my rims herself. After seeing the damage, Melissa acknowledged that it was most likely caused by a “duck head” during tire installation and stated she would file a warranty claim. However, she then told me that once the claim was filed, I would not be able to contact her again and that she had no further information for me. When I politely asked for any form of documentation showing that I had been there and filed a claim (claim number, receipt, or even a business card), she told me “there’s nothing I can give you” and said it “wasn’t a big deal—it’s just scratches.” While it may not have been a big deal to her, it was a big deal to me, especially considering all four rims were damaged during a service I paid for. I later contacted the store manager, Chery, and learned that Melissa could have easily provided me with the claim number, which I finally received after the store manager intervened. The next day, I took my vehicle to a reputable local shop, where I was informed that not only were all four rims damaged, but all four tires were mounted incorrectly. The yellow dot on the tires, which indicates the lightest point and should align with the valve stem (the heaviest point), was not aligned on any tire. When I called Walmart back, I was routed to Melissa again, who was once more rude and dismissive. She insisted the other shop was wrong, claimed Walmart did nothing incorrectly, and told me she “shouldn’t even be talking to me” because a claim had already been filed. She refused a refund for the tire installation and brushed off my concerns, stating that “all shops say different things.” After doing my own research, it is very clear that the other shop was correct. The technicians who initially worked on my vehicle were kind, and I understand mistakes happen—but the way this was handled afterward was completely unacceptable. Blaming the customer, minimizing damage, refusing documentation, and speaking down to someone is not how customer service should operate—especially from someone in a leadership or training role. Because of the damage, improper installation, and extremely poor customer service, I will not be returning to this location and would not recommend this tire center to anyone.

View on GoogleMultiple bad experiences over 10+ years. I have had enough. First ever visit was 2011ish. I took my mother's vehicle in for her to get her 4 new tires. Quick service and all seemed well. I don't recall if she had me get the tire protection plan but not important. The days following install 2 tires had slow leaks. My mother took her van in for warranty repair herself to see why they were leaking, if she ran over something.... After a lengthy wait she said they brought the car in, said the beads were leaking and reseated the beads for free. Slow leaks in same tires days after "repair." She again went back and this time the guy said to my mom "YOUR RIMS ARE BAD, YOU NEED NEW RIMS" And she said they added "If those two rims are bad, the others "ain't" far behind." My Mother in her 70's at the time believed it, went to a DEALERSHIP for 4 new rims and the price for new rims there was over $1,600. Even though at the service/parts counter they told her she would be better off getting rims from a salvage yard my mom insisted on new... BUT the service guy (God bless him) suggested they try the tire repair themselves first. New valve stem guts and cleaning the beads (both were leaking after Albion Walmart tire center repair) and all was well. A second incident of tire leaks after my daughter bought tires and my daughter said she tried to get the leaks repaired and she described to me that in a deep southern accent he deflected responsibility for careless install and claimed, "IT'S PROB'LY REE-IMS." WHICH BRINGS ME TO today.... 12/30/23. Poor service, computer said tires were in stock, BUT he came out and said he had bad news... none in stock. I don't believe it. I just think they didn't want the first thing in the morning work load. So many other times of being promised service just to find out "someone called in sick" or "we don't have the staff".... "New tire purchasing customers take priority OVER warranty repair customers. Sit in the waiting room and we'll get to you when we can." I am not stepping foot in that lack of work ethic place again.
View on GoogleGreat place to take your vehicle. They help you instead of upselling you. I think his name is Joe, the individual who helped me. That man deserves a raise. Top notch.
View on GoogleIf I can give the store no stars at all I would. I came in with a nail in my tire, 45 minutes before the auto shop closes, and they told me they did not have time to fix it. That it takes a hour to patch a tire. There were no other cars there at the time.
