We took our ‘57 Ford Thunderbird in last week for a complete detail and as usual Nate and his Detail This crew did a fantastic job inside and out. They are an amazing team!!

I don’t even know where to begin! I’ve been driving for about 20 years and was a car enthusiast long before that. I spent years working in the automotive industry from dealers to consulting for GM and I’ve seen the good, bad, and the ugly when it comes to customer service. My career is still surrounded by customer service and I could stand to learn a thing or two from this place’s attention to detail. I could write a novel about how happy I am with the job that was done. I’ve spent crazy amounts of money on different jobs in the past and nothing compares to this overall. It was worth every penny and more. Nate, the owner is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. This all began with my quest to find a facility in CNY that had fiber laser for rust removal (look this up on YouTube if you’ve never seen it). I have a 2018 Focus RS that had a small rust spot on the quarter panel where it meets the bumper, a dent in the trunk, some surface rust around the edge of the trunk, and surface rust scattered throughout the underbody due to my lack of washing it for a year. Traditional bodywork doesn’t entice me not only due to the cost, but also because grinding rust doesn’t penetrate the way a laser does. I found Nate by some random Google search that specified this as much as possible and I reached out to schedule an appointment. He looked over my car, took pictures and gave me a rough estimate on the spot. He then sent me a final estimate which I approved and Katie called me to get the appointment scheduled with an estimate of 2-3 weeks. I had my car back two weeks to the day from when the job began and he sent pictures of the progress along the way. I did had high expectations, but the work that was done far exceeded them. All work was done in house, they removed ALL rust, painted the underbody and coated it with a (good for one year) oil-based undercoating that I’ll probably have reapplied next year to avoid doing a permanent one, fixed all of the surface rusted areas on the paint and blended it perfectly (this specific color is very difficult to blend). I only wanted this car to be protected from rust and look decent where it was painted. The entire vehicle looks brand new now. Detail This isn’t a full service body shop. They don’t do frame repair and heavy bodywork, but they do incredible restoration on cars that need some TLC. I can’t tell anyone enough how great this place is for a project car. This was a about as personalized as an experience can get for someone who loves their car and wants to do a light restoration. I’ve also seen the cars he details during the few times I was there and the work is impeccable. He paid so much attention to everything that he even touched up a couple of spots on the plastic bumper that I didn’t even request. He asked my permission before doing so, but he noticed it before I did. I will be returning for more when the weather gets warm and would highly recommend this place to anyone for any service that he does! Additional detail: the photos show that he also painted the suspension components. Ignore the rotors, they’ve been replaced since, but everything behind them is his work. He also painted the subframe. This was not just the underbody alone as I initially mentioned and he did it with precision. Also zero overspray on the paint. My car is show quality underneath as far as I’m concerned.

I recently had my Cadillac Escalade detailed here, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the results. With three kids and everyday use, my vehicle was in rough shape—especially the interior—but they completely transformed it. The attention to detail was outstanding. The floor mats, seats, and even hard-to-reach areas looked brand new, and the exterior had a deep, showroom-quality shine. The team was professional and friendly. You can tell they really take pride in their work.

Detail This does a superb job, both inside & out. We have a dog that rides in both of our vehicles &, needless to say, the interiors were pretty dirty & had quite-a-bit of dog hair. When we picked our vehicles up, both were literally spotless inside & out. Katie is very professional & personal. Thank you for your exceptional service.
