I’ve owned my 2013 Nissan Altima since the day it was manufactured, and it has been with me through every stage of my adult life, truly my first car. For the first 10 years, I used the same mechanic until I moved to Las Vegas, and that’s when I switched to USA Auto Service.
I originally worked with Chuck, who was outstanding. Now Tomas runs the shop, and he has continued to provide excellent service. He takes the time to explain repairs clearly, is honest, and offers fair pricing.
The only downside is the 3.5% fee for paying by credit card.
View on GoogleFirst, I would like to say that I have been to your shop before on Maryland And Desert Inn. It was a really great experience and the staff was very helpful. They were so helpful that I decided to buy everybody pizza for lunch.
Based on that experience, I decided to come back again for some service.
I run a nonprofit here in Las Vegas, where we clean up trash and help homeless individuals get connected to resources to change their life. I have a large 1987 box truck that is very old but the community help me buy it. I don’t get paid for this, everything I do is community funded, and volunteer.
The truck is leaking transmission fluid and I tried fixing it myself, but unfortunately, didn’t do a great job. So I decided to go back to your shop to see about getting it fixed. While I was there, I recognized some faces which I was happy to see, but there was 1 particular individual I didn’t know who turned out to be the shop manager.
When the guy I knew was explaining what it is that I do to the shop manager, the shop manager made a poor taste joke saying “you use this truck to kill people with fentanyl?” Or something along those lines. He thought he was funny, he said it a few more times while laughing. In my head, I just brushed it off because I know some people just don’t know what they’re saying.
After my inspection, I ask the guy I know if he knows the price. He then referred me to the shop manager who was standing there eating tacos and tells me he wants $1,400.. I of course declined and asked how much it would be just for the service I requested which was to re seal the transmission pan. He then told me $480. I told him that’s too much and that we are a community funded non profit. He proceeds to tell me that “you’re a non profit and you’ll get that money back anyways for a write off.” Which doesn’t even make any sense.
I declined the service and told him that’s not how non profits work. While I’m at the front desk, even the front desk guy said that this pricing was outrageous. I asked him who the manager was because of my experience so far, and it turns out that it’s the guy who I have been having a poor experience with.
Before I left, I go out there and I asked to speak with that manager, so I can tell him of my experience as a customer. I Had let him know that making jokes about people dying on fentanyl is not funny at all. I also said it was highly unprofessional to be eating and not acknowledging me while trying to obtain my business.
Even as I was talking to him about my experience, he would not acknowledge me one bit. He would not look at me. The only thing he did when he looked at me was pull out his phone so he could record me and say that I am 86 from the property.
We go back-and-forth For a little bit. On my way out, he offered me a weight loss card because he said I was fat. I’m definitely not gonna pretend to be an entire victim here because I definitely said bad things back. I was angry at the outrageous experience.
I brushed it off and I leave to go about my day and hopefully find the services I need. I get it, life is a trip sometimes and we just have to move on. But while I’m driving, I get a call from USA automotive. Answer the phone and it’s that guy again. This guy proceeds to tell me that if I write a bad review about him that he’s going to write a bad review about my organization. So now the guy is extorting me.
This is the most wild situation I’ve ever dealt with in my 33 years of life with a business. Even if I was the worst customer in existence, the way this was handled from this establishment was the worst I’ve ever experienced in my life. I am so taken back by this.
As long as that guy is there. I HIGHLY recommend avoiding this place.
