We were looking for a no hassle mechanic to assess and possibly repair the brakes on our Nissan Pathfinder. We had previously experienced both a less than adequate repair from another company and an aggressive upsell from yet another company here in our neighborhood. We were aware of Lou’s Auto Repair through a friend and decided to check him out. He started with a ride along in the vehicle to get the best sense of how it was working when driven. He then assessed the situation in his shop and contacted us in just a few short hours. We were given realistic options of different levels of repair and the total cost of each option. He clearly explained each option and the outcome. Once we approved the work, it was a simple pick up the same day with no fuss or upsell. We immediately recommended Lou’s Auto Repair to a friend who was having the same experience with two different businesses wanting to overcharge and upsell instead of safely making a repair. We recommend this business for straight forward assessments and repairs.

I am so grateful for Lou! My car would not start last night and I was worried I wouldn't be able to drive to work on Monday. I called around this morning but since it's Sunday, I didn't have much luck. Thankfully, Lou responded to my voicemail this morning and looked at my car same day. I didn't have to get a tow and he was quick, efficient, and gave a very fair price. Thank you again!

View on GoogleBeen using this man's services for years. He is very knowledgeable Breaks it down to you so even a 4 year old could understand. Takes a good approach with your vehicle by researching and even telling you were you can get the parts the cheapest. One time I pulled up in an old beater I was driving at the time that was over heating and he told me to go get the water pump changed for free at the dealership due to some recall. He didn't have to do that i ,damn sure would've paid him to do it if he told me to. Honesty is important in this business too. So many places will try to sell you headlight fluid if they can.
