Findlay Chevrolet Service

Today May 14, 2026 I received the worst service experience here. As shown in the screenshot, I had a 7:00 AM appointment confirmed both by SMS and through the app for the first oil change service on my 2026 Corvette C8 Z06, which I purchased directly from this dealership. Unfortunately, Mr. David, who had always helped me in the past and was assigned by management to make sure I consistently received proper service, was off that day and not present. Instead, an employee named Benny Cueto assisted me, and he was extremely rude from the beginning. While inspecting my car, it was very obvious that my presence made him uncomfortable. His tone and behavior felt disrespectful, almost as if he was speaking to a child. He pointed toward the waiting area in a dismissive way and said, “That kiosk room is mine, go sit there until I come back.” After checking the vehicle, he completely ignored my appointment time and even tried to reschedule me again, according to him, his computer was “having issues.” Up to that point, I remained patient. The real problem started when they parked my car outside under the sun and began servicing other customers first, even though I was the first customer there and had an appointment. After waiting over an hour, I approached another employee and respectfully asked whether it was normal for my car to be sitting outside in the heat despite having a scheduled appointment. He also responded rudely and said, “We’re busy, go talk to Benny.” However, the moment he realized I was serious, he immediately went into the shop, and within seconds they finally took my car inside for the oil change after approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes of unnecessary delay. The service itself was rushed. Then the technician, Genter, approached me while holding the dipstick and said, “For the health of the car, we intentionally leave the oil level lower so it stays between the two marks.” I responded by saying, “You are the specialist,” but honestly, I found that explanation very strange. The Corvette oil-check procedure is clearly defined by Chevrolet. The engine is supposed to reach operating temperature (around 175°F) before checking the oil level not while the engine is cold and off. I highly doubt Chevrolet leaves the oil capacity undefined. Now I am genuinely stressed and concerned about whether the oil change was even performed correctly, or whether negligence could potentially damage my vehicle. When I went back to Benny to pay, another customer was sitting there. Once again, Benny rudely told me to “wait outside until I call you.” When it finally became my turn, I told him I wanted to use my 53,000 reward points toward the payment. He looked surprised and asked, “Why do you have 53,000 points? Do you buy a lot of cars?” I replied that this is my third Corvette within the past 12 months . As a loyal customer, I expected significantly better treatment and professionalism. Unfortunately, the level of service I received today was unacceptable from beginning to end.

Today, 24/03/2026 I took my car to Findlay Chevrolet on Rainbow for an inspection. I had a slight gasoline smell, and the windshield had a chip that needed replacement. Mr. David helped me—he was very professional and supportive. He promised that my car would be taken care of promptly, out of the sun, and thoroughly inspected. I also appreciate the manager’s support in providing a loaner car. Another gentleman, also named David, who handled rentals, was very welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience. They were quick, efficient, and promised to resolve everything in the next few days. That’s why I’ve been dealing with them for years buying and servicing and I recommend them to others as well.

Made an appointment with service for a simple radio recall on my car. On a saturday, the sales department thought it would be appropriate to text me asking to buy my car from me without me opting in for communications. Incredibly tacky and against required FCC guidelines they must follow. Incredibly unprofessional and predatory.

Excellent service as always. My service advisor, Charlotte, is great. She’s always friendly and communicates everything that’s going on. She always has great recommendations for things that should be done that I wouldn’t have known myself. The techs do a great job. I’ve had great experiences here and will continue to use them.

Denise in the service department was great. She was kind and professional. She had my car ready for pick up at the time she quoted us. However, the people that actually did my oil change didn’t completely close up the parts inside the engine and the check light came on and I had to drive all the way back to the service department a few hours later to have Denise check for the issue and resolve it.
