I trusted Doug’s Automotive 1601 D st with my parent’s vehicle while visiting Las Vegas, and it was a huge mistake. Their mechanic told me the starter was the issue, charged me for the repair, and the problem continued immediately after. When the car was brought back, they admitted the starter wasn’t the problem—but then stopped communicating altogether. No follow‑up, no responsibility, no solution. This shop cost me time, money, and travel. Completely unacceptable. I expect a response and resolution within 10 business days. If this matter is not addressed promptly, I will proceed with filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Nevada Consumer Affairs Division, and any additional agencies necessary to ensure accountability.

My husband, 4 young adults, 12 and I were completely broke down in our rv in Las Vegas On the holiday weekend We are from Oregon and wwre on a long vacation Doug and his employee went above and beyond to get our rv fixed up and back on the road. They were very kind, professional and affordable I strongly recommend this business 👍👍👍💯💯 They totally saved us! We made it all the way back to oregon with absolutely NO issues!

This place is amazing! If you are from out of town (or from Nevada) and don’t want to get ripped off go here! I came from LA and my car over heated.I struggled to find a mechanic and was going off reviews I found one with the most stars and great reviews but when we got there they were charging me $1,280! (Integrity was the company) I was hesitant but thank god I called around and ended up finding Luis from Doug’s Auto and he was friendly,kind and understanding.He not only charged me less than $600 for my new radiator he fixed two other things and didn’t charge me! I know this place might be off the strip but trust me it’s worth it to get to him for any car needs Can’t thank Luis enough for helping us get back home and not ripping us off.He also told us to call him when we got home to make sure we got there safe that should say what kind of person he is 🥹

Horrible! I brought my vehicle here 4 months ago for all 4 rotors and all 4 brakes on my car to be replaced. Keep in mind I bought them brand new from auto zone. When I picked up my vehicle and started driving away, I noticed that my brakes were still squeaking so i brought it back to the owner Doug and he told me it was just brake dust and it would go away. So I drove off and still been having issues, but I gave it time. When I was tired of the squeaking, I brought it back to him 2 months later and he said he didn't remember me and that I wasn't in the system. My dad recommended me to him since he brought his car to him multiple times, which Doug acted like he didn't remember me, my dad, or conversations we had. After arguing back and fourth asking him to look at my car to see what the problem was he then stated well I don't remember you but if u go by all 4 rotors and all 4 brakes I will change them for u without even looking at them first. First off why would u offer to change something If you don't remember me super suspect. And why not look at them first to see what the problem was. These brakes were only on my car for 2-3 months so they shouldn't be bad anyway! I never went back to him because I couldn't trust him or the guy that was working for him. I took it to another mechanic, which told me the back was changed out but never the front ones. I was so pissed off that not only was I lied to but Dougs auto shop also stole the good pieces off my car for my front brakes. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE LADIES. IDK if Doug or the person that works for him stole my new front brakes and rotors but I wouldn't trust this place in general. Just horrible!
