View on GoogleI went to this shop to have brand new tires installed—I brought the tires myself and just needed them mounted. The person who worked on my car (I was told he’s from El Salvador, but I don’t know his name or what he looks like) installed them quickly, but the job turned out to be careless and dangerous. A few days later, while trying to remove the wheels to repair an unrelated part, I found the lug nuts had been over-tightened so severely, I snapped a high-quality tool trying to loosen them—and I still couldn’t get the wheels off. This isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s a serious safety issue. When lug nuts are over-torqued: • It stretches and weakens the studs • The metal can crack or shear while driving • One by one, the studs can fail—until your entire wheel detaches on the road So while it feels “tight,” it’s actually compromising the structure and safety of the vehicle. I called the shop and explained what happened. Their only response? “Sorry.” No solution, no responsibility, no concern that they had potentially put my life—and others on the road—at risk. A tire shop should know how to use a torque wrench. This kind of negligence could cost someone a life, not just a repair. I strongly warn anyone against trusting this business with your car or your safety.
