I was 17 when I bought my 1981 Datsun 210 Wagon from the original owner. It was going to be the car I learned to rebuild top-to-bottom in trade school… learned real quickly that if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. Alas, it sat broken for years, waiting for a suitable mechanic to fix it. It would have taken much longer to get back on the road if not for Aric. I brought him a parts car and my Wagon and asked him to get it in a condition to daily drive it, because cars aren’t made to collect dust. Aric did that in a reasonable timeframe for a reasonable price, and now I daily drive the vehicle that has been with me through all of my developmental years. Will not be taking any of my rare vehicles to anyone else.

I made the mistake of trusting Aric to work on my pride and joy, a 1930 Ford Model A. It became very clear early on he had no idea what he was doing. He kept the car for months; his promises on when it would be done were always false. When I finally got the car back after six months, it ran for about 50 miles and now won't run at all. My numerous attempts to contact him to stand by his work were met with more false promises and then ultimately he would not respond at all. Aric is a con artist who will take your money, claim to do the work and then disappear. Take it from me- if your car is important to you, do not entrust it to Aric and Vintage Velocity. You will be sorry you did.

He expertly completed major maintenance and repair items on the following systems: 1. Main engine - full timing belt kit service. 2. Intake - found/replaced a cracked intake coupling. 3. Suspension - found/replaced worn tension rod bushings and strut mounts. 4. Brakes - rebuilt the rear brake calipers.
