Auto Body Authority

A car accident this morning, car totalled. They took car to lot, assisted with everything needed. Extremely kind and helpful in a stressful situation. Highly recommend.

I was told by several autobody shops that they don't fix rust any more. One of them referred me to Auto Body Authority and we took our 95 Mitsubishi Bravo there for some TCL. Chuck was great to work with: friendly and fair. I couldn't believe what he was able to do with the back hatch of this van. The pictures don't do it justice. Every sticker on the "before" pic of the back hatch was put there by the previous owner to cover another rust hole. The entire bottom had been eaten away by rust and they were able to rebuild the entire bottom section. You'd have no idea looking at it now what it used to look like. Very impressed with their work!

These folks are always honest and forthcoming about what needs to be done with your vehicle. I rammed into a deer and busted my headlight and front end up pretty bad. The guy that works there was kind enough to take a look at the damage and give me a rough estimate free of charge and had good advice on what to do going forward. Once I am financially able to get it fixed this will be the place to go. Also side note I had an accident about 6 years ago and the county towed it to The Auto Body Authority where it racked up a fee for sitting there while I was recuperating from my injuries. He was nice enough to right off the storage fees that was worth more than the totaled car. All I had to do was sign the title over and let him scrap the car. He was very sympathetic of my situation and made it easier on me that way. I'd recommend this business to anyone in the Omaha area.

My car was towed to Auto Body Authority and when I went to pick it up a few days later and paying the $180 tow and storage fee, my car was brought out to be after being jump started twice, and had a flat tire, the bungie cord used to hold my trunk shut for the past year had been cut in half and my back window was completely shattered out. I had several inches of snow along with several inches of glass from the back seat up to the dashboard. When I asked them what happened, I was told " I don't know, maybe the police did it". They refused to pay for, or even help pay for my new window or replace my battery that worked fine up until that day.

I was referred to this shop by a good friend who i trust; who said that he has done business with this shop for years. I called earlier in the week to find out about making an appointment: spoke with a man by the name of Chuck. He explained to expected time and wait to look at our vehicle. I told him I would call back after I found out what wife's schedule was. Called in a few days later to set an appointment up. A female answered, I asked for Chuck, she asked what this was concerning? I said an appointment that I talked to him about earlier in the week. She said Chuck doesn't take calls and please remove us from your list; then ended the call. I was confused; I called back and asked her if there was a reason she hung up on me and all I was trying to do was set an appointment for wife's car. She went into a long explanation about 10-15 telemarketing calls a day, etc. I told her I was surprised that she hung up without even knowing anything about my appointment. She said went into the explanation again. Maybe a few questions with callers before assuming it's telemarketing : "Is this an appointment for a car?", "can I help with your auto appointment?", just a few questions would have avoided her losing a potential customer. At the end of the call, I told her no thank you and I will be taking my business elsewhere. She could have been having a bad day; sorry if she was.
