Terry's Auto & Truck Repair

I had a great experience with Terry’s Automotive in Bellevue, Nebraska. I initially went in just to ask Terry about a part I needed for my truck, and he took the time to explain everything and gave me an honest, fair quote. When I picked up my truck, the work they did was outstanding. They replaced my exhaust manifold, which another shop told me could cost $1,500 or more. Terry’s price was much more reasonable, and the quality of work was excellent. They also installed a couple of other parts for me, and everything was done professionally and correctly. It’s hard to find an honest, reliable shop these days, but Terry’s Automotive definitely earned my trust. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Bellevue area looking for quality auto service.

DO NOT go to Terry 's These guys had my car for 7 days!!!! Apparently you should not take them any vehicle that has a problem with a computer part. So anything built before 1970 should be okay. Thier vendor who tells them how to program new computer based parts takes 5 days to help them. Day 1 it took them all day to start looking at my car. Day 2 & 3 was the weekend. They aren't open. Day 4 my part didn't arrive until the afternoon delivery. Well I'm not surprised, if you don't order a part until after 4 pm, you aren't going to make the morning delivery. Assuming they actually order the part before they left on Friday. Day 5 they are in line to be helped program the part. But the vendor had a lot of their employees quit. But I was on the list... Day 6 I'm still on the vendor's list but they haven't been called yet. Day 7 the got hold of another vendor and they will there some time this afternoon. I guess the vendor they waited 3 days to call is actually able to do their job. They got it done in less than 1 day. Terry's customer service is as bad as their vendor's. I had to call to get updates on the status of my car. Then it was Ford's fault... Then I should be happy because my car IS fixed. Of course it's fixed I didn't take it to the shop to drive it home with the same problem!

Awesome service. I had a lady who rented my car from Turo. She said she will be using it locally (Denver Metro area) and for a day. Tracked her on my GPS and found that she took my car to Nebraska. Contacted Turo, Turo was no help and I couldn’t have my car towed back to Denver because the lady drained my battery I can see how long the car was on on my GPS. Turo said they don’t cover it since it’s an electric issue. It was a 2014 Corolla and it happened in late 2017. I asked the maintenance guy what’s wrong with the car, they said it’s battery issue. I asked them how often I should change my battery they said every 4-5 years. It hasn’t been 4 years. Anyway, the staffs were great and didn’t charge me for having the car stayed in their shop for over a month. Yes a month. I wanted to examine the battery, so I took the battery with me, which they added a cost for taking the battery with me. So costs of everything from my trip to Nebraska from Denver and back to Denver, service fee, etc. came out from my own pocket and Turo did not want to cover it. This is also a review on Turo by the way. And those who wants to rent out their car with Turo, be careful.

Brought my Chevy to Beardmore due to a rattling sound on the front end. They advised that I need a whole muffler system due to a cracked pipe at the tune of $1400. Wasn’t sounding like the muffler was damaged or a crack. Asked for my car back. Went to Terrys and they adjusted the muffler and fixed a clamp. Total cost $148 . Honest people and I will always bring my vehicles here.

I called Terry to ask about my F-150. It broke down out of town and the service center in that town said it had major issues and the quote to repair was big. Terry didn't feel that the issues were right so I had the truck towed to Terry's and Terry was right. Clearly the other shop was trying to deceive me. Terry's saved me thousands of dollars. I am so thankful for Terry's Auto. They are great!
