This place is run by the absolute rudest individual. Hours started on Google indicate they're open from 8-12 on Saturday, and we made a truck rental reservation to pick up within those hours. Arrived late (less than an hour from original time) due to travelling from out of town, and they had left. No contact, no "please call when you arrive", nothing. They happened to come by while we were trying to make other arrangements, and were incredibly rude the entire time. Multiple comments like, "yeah, you HAD a rental for this time", "you're lucky I was willing to come back when someone called", etc. We were 45 minutes past the pick up window, not hours. Continued to make snarky comments through the entire pick up proceedings, including refusing to do anything to make the process go smoother with the rental company despite being asked to do so. If you don't want to offer a service on the weekends, then don't do it. If this is how they treat people trying to give them easy money, I certainly wouldn't want to deal with them if it was something actually difficult.

So I have gone to blue ridge quite often for oil changes and tires and such. Always had a good experience, so I referred my daughter to them last year. She got quoted around $500 for brakes and rotors, front and back, for a 2004 Camry... Well a few weeks ago her car started making a noise coming from the rear end... I heard it one day while riding with her. My daughter is not mechanically inclined, I am, I told her it sounded like metal on metal, her back brakes are probably worn and she should get it checked because that'll wear the rotor too. But I said it could just be something loose, since she got brakes and rotors all the way around last summer at blue ridge. Well she messages me today, she had taken her car to a shop in Hickory... They changed her back brakes and rotors and said they looked like they hadn't been changed in years. The pads were all the way gone, nothing but metal, and the rotor was hanging. I told her to call blue ridge(not knowing she had already gotten the brakes and rotors done), because if she got them done last year and they're worn already, they may still be under warranty. When she called blue ridge about it, they got smart with her because she took it somewhere else. They told her they had a record of doing the front and back, but since she took it somewhere else they couldn't do anything about it...But if they had done right by her in the first place, she wouldn't have felt the need to go somewhere else. So seems like they charged her for a a job that they only partially done. If they had done both, there's no way the back should have work down before the front and even if they did, the rotors definitely should have still been good! I feel bad for referring my daughter. BLUE RIDGE SHAME IN YOU FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SOMEONE LIKE THIS! We will definitely take our business elsewhere.

Will charge you $100+ for a simple 20 minute diagnostic. You can get a diagnostic tool like they used from amazon for like $40. They wont tell you upfront and theyve done this to my family, money hungry

Took a tractor tire there. They patched the tube. Still leaked . Took it back, they said it wasn't leaking. Put it back on and went flat in 4 days. Not going there again.

Not only did I pay $100 for an alignment which was not done or if it was done it wasnt done well. I also specifically asked for my Lugnuts to be checked because I had suffered a double blowout on my drivers side. I honestly don’t believe that they even touched my tires as I had specifically requested that my Lugnuts be checked yet no lug nuts were touched. Upon calling to inquire about more information regarding the worsening of my cars performance one day later, I was hung up on by the secretary because when I told her I specifically asked for my Lugnuts to be checked, and it was not done I guess hanging up was easier: Might wanna have some mechanical knowledge or be able to do your own tires if you visit this establishment because they will lie to you and then hang up on you when you call em out on not doing anything.. Might be better as a test facility for how trustworthy your local mechanics are then a solution to your problems unfortunately. I’m visiting a second mechanic to get my “alignment” assessed before I return to them. I will update this review if the second diagnosis proves they actually did anything to my vehicle.
